Single Use Pullout Comfort Earloop Disposable Face Mask (Pack of 50), Blue - Latex Free

I am taking one star away because the nose piece is difficult to mold (if at ALL moldable). I went as far as to remove the piece from a used mask (see photos) to figure out why it molded so poorly. What I pulled out surprised me: it was a small strip of (for lack of better description) plastic! I went on to bend it in half as hard as I could—creasing it in the middle. It held a weak fold, and then the slightest press against the inside of the fold caused it to give way almost entirely (mimicking one’s nose pressed against the inside of the fold). I then cut it apart (cross section) to see what the center looked like, and it was the same malleable plastic-type material through and through. There appears to be no metal inside to help it hold its shape, whatsoever.For all this complaining, I have to say that there must be something about the design that keeps my glasses from fogging up! This has been a big problem for me with most masks, but it is lessened with this one.I have also included photos to show, as others have, that the ear loops are not readily apparent. If you don’t read the directions, you will NOT know they are there! Also, the loops are on the BLUE side—the side that faces OUT. They are folded pieces of elasticized material that are flush with the front of the mask—they look like white strips on either side. You need to GENTLY pull them forward and then back around to face the other direction so the mask sits correctly with the white side against your face.I have worn many masks in my time, and the ear loops eventually give me a headache. Not these! If you remove these gently, they will serve you well. The ear loops are light, breathe well, and do not cause a lot of pressure after long hours of wear.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase, and I plan to purchase again. It’s easy enough to correct the nose piece with a bit of crafting (twist tie, floral wire, actual metal pieces meant for masks that apply with self-stick adhesive [available here on Amazon]—just remember to apply the item of choice over the top of the mask, and then secure it with a small strip of strong tape. You don’t want to create any additional holes in the mask, defeating the entire purpose.)Hope this helps. Stay safe, and be well, everyone!

I received these today, and upon trying one on, was unable to get the loops over my ears. I stuck my fingers through the loops, but was only able to reach my cheeks. I have a large head, but I'm no Joseph Merrick, lol.I was very annoyed, because even though they are inexpensive, if they don't fit, they are useless. I had a few other people in my office try them on, with the same result, except for a woman with a smaller head and face, who was able to put the mask on with some pull on her ears.I started a return, only to receive a "This item is non-returnable" message. Since I had to keep them, I took one of the masks, and pulled on the loops. The flat "fabric" of the loops stretched without breaking from the mask. The loops are VERY strongly attached, and take a lot of pressure (relatively speaking) to rip from the mask. I then pulled harder on the loops, and was able to get the mask over my ears. It's a little tight, but nowhere near as bad as I originally thought, and actually quite comfortable.How I got the mask on:1. Pull the straps from the mask. They are flat, but stretchy.2. Put the mask over your face, and evenly pull the loops toward your ears. As you stretch the loops, they will elongate, and will roll so that the straps are no longer flat.3. Only stretch the loops as long as you need them to go over your ears. If you overstretch them, they will not snap back to shape like regular elastics.I hope this helps someone out there!

Very comfortable and good quality for a disposable mask. Good protection too. Great product.

Not sure what all the negative hype is all about with these masks. First of all, these types of masks are never made to protect 100% from any virus. You want to ensure your safety during this pandemic? Follow CDC guidelines. As far as all the reviews about how these masks are made, they are no different from the ones you see medical personal wearing in any doctors office or hospital. In fact, they may be a little better as they extend up and down and cover more. Aside from the price and the fact that they come in a plastic wrap (which is actually a vacuumed wrap) - my 2 reasons for giving 4 stars, these masks are good and useful! YES they are made in China and yes this information comes transparent with the packaged product. I received my package within 2 days of ordering it as promised which lets me know 1) It was not in China when I ordered it. 2) If there was any virus attached it would no longer be by the time it arrived to me. After traveling from country to country, sitting in customs, sitting in an Amazon warehouse, and in travel to be delivered to my residence. For those who'd like to be extra cautious after receiving the masks I suggest sanitizing the package upon arrival and letting it sit a few days per CDC guidelines for anything delivered to you. If you're looking for reliable masks to keep you and your family safe I suggest you order these. Good quality and quick delivery! *Note: Non-latex masks have the thicker straps that are attached to front of mask. Gently pull the straps to extend them for use.

Updated on Oct 12, 2020 - Drop rating further to 2* for reason: Canadian made Medical ASTM level 3 masks are currently retailed between $30-60. Medical level 1 even lower. The price of this Amazon non-medical mask is no longer commensurate with the quality, even though we did find the quality good.Updated on Sep 17, 2020 - Drop the rating from original 4* to 3* for reason: today at the $46 price range, we can buy certified medical level mask at ASTM Level 1 or 2. The price for this non-medical level mask still reflects the days when face masks supply was tight.Original review:Just received our order (sold by Amazon). Examined, tried on one mask and also cut open one mask to look at the inside 3 layers.Honestly, do not understand all those negative comments on this face mask.To start with, this mask did not claim to be medical or surgical masks or meeting US ASTM level. Regardless, we buy face masks for the protection. We still want to get some level (might not be medical grade) of protection. We are no experts, but we had researched online for the ways non-experts could test the quality of face masks. We did those and cut one open. 3 layers as described. The melt blown material is the middle layer and is the most important layer to provide filtration. Unlike some of the masks that we bought elsewhere (not from Amazon platform), this mask's melt blown layer is not thin or flimsy. Held it up against sunlight; we saw dense fibre. We also tested and found reasonably good static in this sheet. We had purchased fake masks (not from Amazon platform) with false claim of melt blown layer (when it was completely not there) before; and also masks of inferior melt blown layer (not from Amazon platform), despite opting to pay more per unit. We really feel good about this mask, even though we have no means to know what % of filtration against particulates this mask is capable of.We have average size faces. This mask actually fits very well. It is not loose, not too big. It is standard size. Yes, the nose strip is plastic but we can patiently mold it to conform to the nose & adjacent cheekbones. It seals the upper part of the face well. The ear-loops, in same material as the mask, are facing you on the front, folded together at the 2 sides. They are actually comfortable & hold the mask well on the face.This mask is not perfect. The mask has a smell. Something we never came across in other masks we purchased elsewhere. May be this smell will go away, eventually, when it is put on the face. For us, there is a tiny gap at the lower side of both cheeks. Not big, just tiny gap. But 3-fold masks, unlike N95 configurations, do not claim to be able to seal completely the face. The pack came in sealed plastic bag. The paper product description in the package said the masks are good for 2 years, but the production date was not shown. This is a 3-fold mask. The outward appearance of the folding are not as neat as most of the 3-fold masks that we had seen (but this is no reflection of the quality of the protective melt blown layer).If you accidentally break the ear-loop and have not worn/used it, stay cool. Insert this mask into a cloth mask as filter (assuming you would only buy cloth mask with filter pocket). Don't waste the mask.We are comfortable with this order. We wish Amazon.ca can bring in and sell more quality and trusted protective face masks.

We wear masks in Ontario at the grocery and other stores to protect and be respectful of other people. These masks are comfortable to wear but fall short for us otherwise. Do not feel they provide adequate prevention of spread of droplets. They are loose fitting for both my husband and myself with gaps around the top and sides. Feel like we need to adjust them often while wearing them. The loops that go around the ears also tear off easily. Think they are just ok for short term single use applications. Not a good value at almost a dollar a mask.Dropping to 1 star after a week. Been using masks for light wear purposes only. Every single mask ended up with a broken ear strap. Have to be SUPER gentle with the straps or they detach from the masks. Just came home from the grocery store very frustrated. Must resort to removing straps from the remaining unused masks and gluing them back on with a stronger adhesive to see if we can continue to use them. Cannot recommend these masks. Those who have given them a high rating must have phenomenal dexterity.

I've been having a hard time wearing masks when going out, bought a few handmade reusable ones and didn't love them. Also having to wash them every time you wear them is a PIA and yes I know, reusable is better but I only go out 2-3 times a week and as long as you dispose of them properly, might be worth it.I read reviews and decided on these and was also happy to see they were in stock. They shipped within a week and I just got the package even though the shipment confirmation said delivery on Thursday so yay! Tried one on and love it so far.... Will be going out shortly and am happy that I won't have to worry about the discomfort of wearing a mask on top of everything else. The flaps are very well hidden so I guess that's why people didn't see them in other reviews, you have to gently pry them off and open them before you put the mask on. I will be recommending these to my friends. My hat is off to health care workers yet one more time, don't think I could survive wearing multiple masks for a long period of time :(

Just received yesterday and tried one on. They are loose fitting and the nose clip is some sort of plastic. I’m 5’4” so maybe for a man. It does not bend enough to mold over your nose. The ear bands are not stretchy enough either. Almost paper like. Disappointed as I needed these for my job. And imperative that they fit properly.

So many buyers have not read the instructions in the description. There ARE elastic ear loops attached, they are in the folds on the side, the masks are perfect fit. No, they do not last all day but they are not supposed to, that is the whole point.How do these people figure out how toilet paper works?
