Will this let me watch my AV1 videos off my taco trail cam?

I've had a lot of problems with the video. It contentedly stops playing. I don't think it has enough memory for that. Does fine with pictures.

Why does it shut down and not hold power

According to the owners manual it has an automatic shut down after so many minutes so it will save your battery life

Does this viewer have storage to download images/video and then replace the card in the trail camera?

No it does not have internal storage. You need 2 cards for that. Also the images are on the screen aren't very clear. It does a good enough job but I wish I would bought a different one.
