Don't believe the product picture
Not much to say in a review about a cord. This one does what it's supposed to, splits the audio and microphone connections from a single VOIP connection into separate 3.5mm connections.I must state, by looking at the picture, that the makers of this product are now shipping these out with a longer strain relief on each connection of the cord. The cord is actually a bit thicker too in comparison to the picture.Other reviewers have been saying that theirs broke easily and fast upon receiving. Looking at the old cord in the picture, it's very believable.I like how this cord clearly labels headphones and mic as symbols on metal sleeves as opposed to the standard green (for speakers) and pink (for microphone) 3.5mm cords. The worst I've had happen thus far is the metal sleeve for the microphone is starting to slide off when I pull on it, but I can just super glue that back on easily.Functionally, this cord works great, and I think it deserves another chance since the (possible) revision from the picture.

Well made; just a couple of gripes
The biggest problem I have with these Y adapters and other headsets with 2 pins is that it is difficult to find out which is headphone and which is microphone. Quite a few manufacturers use a couple of strategies - color or raised/embossed icon for headphone or mic on the side. This one is a faint marking that requires a good lighting; you can't make out in semi-dark or at nights.Woodees should have colored them separately, or added different raised bands on the pins or even embossed/raised icons on the side; it is a big oversight on their part. And that's the only reason I am giving a 3 start for this instead of a 5.On the positive side, it is very well made (will probably last for another 2 notebook cycles for me), and good quality audio/signals.

Perfect for use with Bose QuietComfort 15 Headphones
If you want to travel with a single headset and use it for both your iPad and your laptop, this is the one. Now I can use one headset, the Bose QuietComfort 15 Bose QuietComfort 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones NEWEST MODEL which includes a cable with remote for iPhone, on my laptop for IP phone as well!

Convenient & useful way to get more out of your headset
Not much to say about this, it just works. Hooks into my laptop, and into my smartphone headset (Skullcandy INK'd Earbuds with In-Line Microphone S2INBI-SZ (Silver)) and it just works. The build quality looks to be good, with low-profile durable strain reliefs.I can't comment on mac compatibility, since I don't have one; but newer macs support the standard 3.5mm smartphone headset this is used for without any adapters, so it's kind of pointless. This should also help with an occasional glitch I get plugging my headset into some things (can't think of specifics right now) where the sound is messed up, like the volume of everything is off. Basically makes them work as a normal pair of headphones. As an added bonus, the plastic clamshell in the package (the white area in the second picture of the product) is small and reclosable, so it makes a handy case to carry this around in. A bit tricky to get the cables arranged back, but not bad for being a free bonus.

Excellent product
The audio converter is really good. The converter meets expectations. Product design is good and sober-minded. I bought it for connect my cable handsfree iPhone 5 with laptop and it works great. The drive receives handsfree jack and separate microfine and auricolar two outputs is connected to the computer. This allows to use the handsfree phone as headphones into the computer. It is difficult to find a converter that meets these characteristics.

Saved my Bacon (Almost literally)
Oooooh yes. I love this thing. After my computer Mic pooped out less than a month in, I needed to use my headset. But it only had one port. So glad I found this thing. My only concern is that I might lose it, I depend on it so much. It's small. So make sure you always stick it in a safe place when you aren't using it.

Works Fine
I needed something that would allow me to use my Android's headset with my Windows PC and this did the trick. I didn't want to use a bulky gaming headset and this works like I was expecting. I did not have any problems getting this to work right. It was easy, I just connected my Android headset to one end and hooked the other end to my windows PC and was able to make a successful Google Voice call the very first time. This also works with anything else that you would normally use a headset for on a Windows PC.

After two different adapters I finally got smart
Tried two different, (read cheaper) adapters and finally got smart. This thing is quality, I truly wish I would of went with this one first. Because of my schedule at work I am constantly plugging and unplugging my system (roughly every two hours of a 13 hour shift) and after nearly three months of constant usage these things have held up great. I am supremely impressed with the quality and build and would highly recommend.

No tiene compatibilidad con diferentes Sistemas Operativos
Esta muy bonito y todo, pero no funciona en lo absoluto en mi laptop con Windows 10, por lo cual no me sirve en lo absoluto.
