Cafe Lux Gourmet Ground Medium Roast Coffee - Made in Haiti - From Jacmel/Thiotte Moutains - 270 grams

So, I brought this coffee a while back and All I can say that this is not Haitian coffee. It does not taste like coffee at all, just black beans grounded up with a little bit of American coffee. Plain, watery and nasty. I know what Haitian taste like, very strong, smooth with a hit of chocolate but this is the complete opposite. Not worth it!

This is good coffee! Used it many times, a good cup every time!

My husband typically loves Haitian coffee. He hated this one. Threw it away. Bitter!

I was lucky enough to be gifted a bag of this coffee by one of my customers who says they are family with the gentleman in Haiti that makes the coffee. This is already ground Fine and brews similar to an espresso. It has a very rich flavor and much smoother than your average espresso. This is good black or with cream, and/or sugar. This will be a coffee I will drink on a regular basis. And will be gifting to friends.

having been to Haiti and had the locally roasted coffee in Thiote (fire roasted with sorghum, really delicious}I have to wonder why this "best in the world" class of coffee is such an "esoteric" and largely unavailable item.

The item says it was whole beans, which was the reason I ordered it, however, when I received the item it is grinding. I like to order to whole beans to grind the beans myself. When I tried to return it and says this item is not eligible for return.

another quality Haitian coffee not over powering with the burnt taste like some daker roast. This is quality coffee boldly rich and recommended.

Tried my first cup and it was extremely unpleasant. Tasted and smelled burned. Definitely will not be purchasing again.
