Seem to be good so far. Screws I had in the old ones were too short. Just put some bolts in the new ones to attach them.

I love tbis seat!I was initially initially cautious with the lack of description for the under side of this seat replacement, but extremely grateful I bought this. The bottom side appears to be real wood so screwing an attachment to the base doesn't seem to be an issue. I recommend this!

We have lived in our home for 37 years. There are 3 chrome bar stools that have always been a part of the kitchen bar and counter. The stools more than likely came from an old diner. The seats needed replaced badly. We were unsure of whether to have them made locally /customized versus the online market. We ordered only one to see if it would fit, looks and the quality. We are happy to report that we were very pleased and ordered two more. Hubby only slightly modified how he attached the new seat to the old pole. I would highly recommend to buyers. The seat cover is textured, firm, durable. Well made for the price!

Cons: Not heavy duty, pretty standard thickness material. The whole cushion is also slightly thinner than its replacement cushion which means you sit lower. Lastly, the material is soft which doesn't give me confidence in its durability. I was hoping it would feel like a seat on a bus or comparable, but it's far from it.Pro: Holes pre-drilled fit the stool correctly. It's better than what was there before (straight wood with the old cushion completely torn off).Bottom line: If this were for a home, it would be fine but it does not feel shop quality.

Simple direct replacement of bar stool seat, just make sure that the anchor screws in the seat that is being replaced are 5 1/4" apart. Nice quality.

This is just what I was looking for to upgrade a vintage band stool. Used with a swivel and it works great and is comfy.
