I did a ton of research before purchasing this smoker. I love a good smoked old fashioned, and considered the smokers with the big domes and smoking guns etc. I figured for the price this smoker was a good way to get into smoking drinks. We don't have a ton of room in the bar so the size was certainly a consideration. The clay material the smoker is made of was also a consideration because I saw a lot of other smokers that were made of wood would burn up over time during use. I like that this ones comes with some starter chips so you can experiment with smoke flavors and bourbon combinations. If you smoke a few drinks in a row, the smoker will become warm, but not too hot to hold. I load the reservoir about halfway up and light it up, then let it sit for a minute. If you want less smoke flavor put the drink in the glass then smoke, if you want a more robust smoke flavor then smoke the glass before you put the drink in. This is a great product and I would recommend. On top of it all, the cool skull shape looks great in product shots.

Purchased this for my brother in law for his birthday. Turned out to be a really neat gift! It comes in a box that’s giftable ready and the little wood chips are in small tins in the box with the skull smoker. He lit it with a kitchen butane torch, and it turned out looking really neat with the smoke coming out of the skull head nostrils! Great gift, and would be fun for parties!

The media could not be loaded.  The smoker kit is fun to use. The skull shape and smoke coming out of the nose are a crowd pleaser, specially the first time the guests see it. There's a good variety of wood chips included in the box. There's a brush kit to clean the mesh but I probably won't need it. If anything there's potentially to include a cap to increase the smoke going into the glass and out of the nose. Overall it's a good purchase.

The Skill Cocktail Smoking Kit was amazing. I bought it for my husband’s birthday. He absolutely loved it and so did everyone at the party! He loves to make new drinks and experiment a little, so this was a great gift. The black skull looks better in person than I had anticipated from the ad. The instructions are ok, just wish it indicated how many wood chips to put in. But that’s the fun of experimenting and finding that smoke flavor you want. Again, great item. Highly recommend it as a gift or a little something for yourself!

What you need to know..... is this smoker is made out of clay and while it may get warm it doesn't burn like other smokers made of wood. Can't go wrong... I absolutely make smoke ol fashions and pair them with a great cigar.... I like to share the smokiness of using different Bourbons.
