It was a bit awkward handling the hardware while the bolts were being added. Always remember not to tighten all the bolts too much as they will require a bit of adjusting to align the holes. It was impossible to tighten them afterwords since the bolt heads (philip heads) were no longer accessible. Hex bolt heads would have better served as an open wrench could have slipped in.TV mounted and all is secure.

These things are amazing, but they are not feasible for what I needed - to take a 200x200 VESA TV and LOWER it about two inches from the original mounting position in my RV. If this were in a house or using a wall mount, (instead of an extendable Mor/ryde mount I had bought) it could have worked. That's not a knock on this item. They are sturdy as hell, well made, great design, but I could not get them to line up with the predrilled holes on my Mor/Ryde mount.

Works fine. Three different sizes of screws included to attach to the TV (because there isn't just one standard size). The nuts to attach the adapter to the existing mount have nylon inserts so they won't come loose. Installation isn't bad, but you will have problems if you fully tighten the adapter to mount connection before putting on the TV. The adapter/mount connection should be left with some play (but not loose) otherwise the TV to adapter holes will likely not align correctly. This is a mistake some people made based on reviews that state the holes don't align properly. The holes are indeed fine, this is a installation issue. You can't hard tighten the adapter-mount screws/nuts before putting on the TV, there has to be a small amount of play to get it to align. There is no need to hard tighten the adapter-mount connection as the nylon insert nuts will not come off on their own.I thought it was a little expensive for simple brackets, but they are a well made specialty item, it is what it is.

Ordered a Master Mounts desktop stand to put my TV above my fireplace mantel, but the stand was for 100x100 or 200x200 VESA patterns. This adapter kit made the master mount stand able to accommodate a 400x400 VESA pattern that is on a 50" LG Plasma TV I have. Assembly was very easy, it fit the master mount stand perfectly, holds my 60lb TV with ease and made the whole job of getting this thing mounted above a 6" deep fireplace mantel very easy. Thankful I found this adapter and the mount.

New TV, different hole pattern. You know the story or you wouldn't be reading this.Our existing mount was a custom install. We really didn't want to call a gen contractor to replace it just because of hole pattern issue. The Husky Mounts came EVERYTHING you could possibly need for any possible configuration.The mounts really are rather "Husky" material wise. There is nothing sloppy about the fit & finish either.Terrific value. Highly recommend this product. Tip: If you didn't like playing with erector sets as a kid, you might want to find someone who did to join in. A little pre-planning and some hardware do-dads involved. I had fun with it but I'm wired for puzzles.

Such a life saver. This VESA adapter allowed me to use my current TV wall mount that was limited to TVs up to 32 in. and expand it to fit much larger TVs, specifically a 50 in. in my case. It didn't come with the correct bolt size for larger TVs. What bolt size you'll need varies depending on which size mount and TV you're trying to mount. In my case I needed M8 bolts. This adapter didn't come with any that size. So you may either want to buy some in varying lengths or buy a bolt kit for VESA mounts, which are extremely overpriced. In many cases you'd be better off buying a cheap mount that would come with the correct bolt sizes. I had some left over from my other TV mount. So this kit definitely works for expanding compatibility for larger TVs on smaller mounts.

I have been cursing the previous owners of my home over the past 5 years for installing this stupid, weird sized TV mount that I can't use. It was an eyesore & I finally became determined to do something about it.Of course there are TV mount extenders/adapters! I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner. I loved that this one looked sturdier than some of the other similar options & it came with all of the necessary hardware. It even included 4 M6 screws that connect to the TV. They also come with screws of other sizes & have drill patterns to fit multiple types of mounts & TVs.As you can see in the photo, the original mount plate was a VESA 200 which I extended to VESA 400 with these pieces. My installed mount is bolted to a stud & has a weight limit of 60 lbs. My 49" LG TV is 30 lbs, max. I'm a single lady & I did the whole thing by myself.This was a great purchase. I'm so happy with how it all turned out.
