These two pet scissors work soooo well compare to the ones I bought at my local pet supplies store, and better price too. I feel more confident with the rounded tip on the straight edge, so I can trim the fur near my dog's face. Trimming scissor is very easy to operate too. This saves me some trips to the grooming shop, win win.

The thinning shears did not cut my Yorkie's hair. very disappointed. The regular shears are OK. Longer than I anticipated.

Blunt!
The thinning shears are completely blunt! Did not cut a single strand of my puppy's fur. The straight ones are fine. Will be returning the set.

Superb set of dog scissors, perfect combination. Feels comfortable in hand. Especially like straight edge's round tip for the extra safety. The thinning trims just the right amount, and both cuts clean and smooth on my toy pom's thick coat. Highly recommended!

Don't buy these for a Lhasa Apso!
The straight scissors work well. The thinning scissors won't cut my dogs hair at all.
