Works too good which is a bad thing
It almost works too good. I was trying to hang a projector screen on my ceiling and it kept detecting the walk boards on top the 2x4 ceiling joists which made it completely useless because it was saying everywhere was a nailer so I ended up putting a ton of nail holes in my ceiling. Other than that it works perfect.

Great stud finder
This a great stud finder. I got mine originally at Costco and my father-in-law wanted one so I found it here for him for Christmas

Works great.
Worked great for the newer built addition on my house but had difficulty reading though some of the 108 year old walls of the original home.STILL giving 5 stars as my other unit couldn't read any of the older home.

Very nice product
This problem is extremely precise if you have 5/8 thick drywall. Thicker than that it has difficulty to find correctly but still it's good.

this is without a doubt the best stud finder i have used. the active electrical detector is an awesome additional feature. I threw all of my old stud finders away
