I wanted ear protection that was 1) effective, 2) compact, 3) within a reasonable budget. I've really only used these for 9mm, but it seemed to give good protection. It certainly muffled the noise (when shooting any firearm, the last thing want is a constant ringing for moderate rounds of target practice). They were pretty comfortable as well. I where metal framed glasses and after a mag or two, I almost forgot I had them on. I think they will last a while, and for ~$18 I would say that they were worth it (though if you could find them on sale for $15, I think you'd be a very happy purchaser).

Blocks loud fan noises. They grip tightly to your head (which they need to do), but my earlobes got a bit sore. Fitting them over your ears is very important to avoid pressure. Once fitted correctly, they were very effective. Comes with a pair of ear plugs which I didn't need to use with the headgear.

Quality

Excellent noise protection. I've used them for football games and indoor target practice. They fit well and are easily adjusted.

My mother in law used these for an air show and she’s terrified of loud noises. She was able to hear some of the noise but at a very reduced level. They are durable and they can compact for easy storage. We’ve used them for several ovations and it’s great to have around during the holidays for fireworks. The design is pleasing to the eye and both men and women feel confident wearing them in the family. It’s a good value for the quality.

Works well on the flight line with F18 running. Perfect for people with glasses as there's a slot to seal against your head and another slot for the glasses to ride on. Very comfortable to wear with the gel version.

I use this while in the ambulance they definitely help drown out the sirens but I also can still hear my radio and talk with my partner. Perfect for what I needed them for
