As we approach the end of our epic saga, the tumultuous conflict between the Rus and the Vikings comes to a conclusion, with grave consequences. The wrap up of many hours of entertainment!
It's very hard to give this final instalment to a huge series its own personal review. It is a good product, great visual & audio quality. And a fine wrap up to an epic series. Other than that, the rest is opinion & that will vary from individual. This series is not a history lesson as artistic licensing is generously used. That being said they do stay pretty close to historical accuracy. Can this set be enjoyed on its own, yes & no. Its entertaining but the end of something as large as this series couldn't possibly be enjoyed as much as watching this finale after many hours of character development. But if you're looking at purchasing this, odds are you've been following along from the beginning & purchasing this series right along with its release for sale to own. If that is the case that means this final installment is a must have. And if that is the case, well we find ourselves back to that opinion issue. And you know what they say about opinions. L.O.L. Great series!
Enjoyed this series to the fullest! I love this time period and I loved learning about Vikings and other nations during this time. My favorite character is Ivar the Boneless (I know lol, terrible). I named my Bronco after him . Its very fitting lol. But highly recommend this to anyone whose looking to binge watch a great show! I own all the seasons and I am very happy.

Series Ends On a Good Note
Not the tightest writing for this season but is still an improvement from the previous season. The show has ran it's course and started to show signs of poor writing (see season 6 part 1). I felt some satisfaction to how they ended this season. Not perfect but not bad either. Overall it's been a great series since season 1.
