A friend's new kitten & our senior kitties love these, but why did we spend so much for them?! Dunno.If you are *at all* crafty, and I do mean *At All*, then get yourself an old wool sweater, hot water and soap. Unravel the wool. (Alternately, get some pretty organic wool or even balls like this on Etsy or something.) Roll the wool in a ball in your hands like when you were a kid with Play-doh. Add a tiny bit of soap. Mush it in the hot water and roll it around and around it your hands for a while. Add some hot water ever so often. Roll it around summore. Rinse well when it gets to be a somewhat sturdy ball that's a good deal bigger than your cat's mouth.Yeah, that's it.We paid a little over $1.65 PER BALL. Why?!Ugh. Don't shop Amazon when you're exhausted. Amazon uses, "dynamic pricing" (different prices based on customer data, like where you live and how much/what you've previously bought – as it's tracked by their 3rd-party 'partners' tracking you across the internet. They say they're not doing it, but yeah.)Now that we aren't buying kitten things in a frenzy, these are a few dollars less overall. We loathe dynamic pricing! But buying these in a mad kitten frenzy, is on us.Aside from the cost, they are nice, if *tiny*, wool balls. The colors are bright and pretty. The kitten loves getting her teeth and claws in them. We do worry a bit with our monster kitty, but the other one (9 lbs. and doesn't like to chew things) seems safe with them. We won't be leaving them out on the floor without supervision because they are so small and somewhat loosely shaped and the monster kitty may just try to eat them like micro meatballs.We would *NOT* have dogs play with them as they could easily choke on them!So, with those warnings in place, they are OK. We wouldn't buy them again, but if you've got a small cat and don't mind the cost, maybe you'll like them.

Cat owners may know how valuable this piece of information is: I can never FIND any of these felt balls, so no photos.My ~1 year old cat adores these. I've doled them out to here one at a time, but she immediately goes nuts and chases it all over the house (hint: do not give these out right before bed). Then, as with all her favorite toys, they disappear until I find them under the refrigerator etc.Major points:* My kitten is very rough on toys, and these are holding up well with the sharp claws/sharp teeth attacks. I actually expected them to get torn up quickly, just based on how rough she is. They get a bit fuzzy, but that's what felt balls are going to do.* As other reviewers have shown, they're fairly small. I don't think this is an advantage or disadvantage: cats prefer toys of different sizes. It's just something to be aware of.* Following on the previous point: they are small enough to go under kitchen appliances. If you have a health issue that makes getting on the floor difficult, you might want to look for something larger.* Cats in general tend to like felted balls. Someone explained once that it has something to do with the lanolin in wool (?). In my experience, though, felted balls are indeed a surefire hit. If you have a young cat and are not sure yet what kind of toys they prefer, these are a pretty safe bet.* They don't hurt when you step on them. Which you will, because cats.* They're quiet! No plastic crashing, no rattling, no crinkling.* They swat well, at least on wood floors. They might not do as well on carpet.I would definitely purchase these again. They're well-made and have been a hit. They shipped from overseas, so they won't arrive instantly. That's not a criticism, just another FYI :)

My cat loves these wool balls. We've tried other wool balls and she doesn't like them as much as these. She carries them around like babies and sings. She "rescues" them from around the house and delivers them to our son's bed. I have bought these several times and they have always been great. Shipping in mid-2021 is taking a long time but that's due to worldwide shipping delays and not because of the seller. The seller sent them promptly after I ordered.

My feline friend, the Princess Pia, is elderly (she lies about her age, claiming to be only 17 years, but actually 19, and with all that fur, there are no age-wrinkles showing, which works in her favor), and is no longer very playful. She has lately been more like a human baby, and simply knocks these balls off her throne and watches them bounce and roll away. Then she stares at me until I replace them. Or sometimes, satisfied that she has proved her superiority over me, her minion, she takes another nap. Upon awakening, of course, she knocks them off again.

I have a 6+ month old kitten who loves them. She bats them and carries them all over the house. But I had to take them away from her because she was ripping them apart. I will wait a few months and see if she will be more gentle with them.I was trying to find a new version of the soft toy balls from a few years back. They were the best and very durable. These were the closest I could find. As they say, close but not a weeeeoooo.

My cat really loves these much better than any other ball because she can easily hold them in her mouth, as they are made of soft wool. They're also really cute, everyone is unique. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars, is they're not very durable. Not sure what can be done about that since they are wool, but if your cats loves them the way mine does, you will be buying more before too long.

My cats didn't wait for me to open the package, they ripped the package open before I could get to it. I have 2 cats and they love these. My one cat carries one around the house all day. These are very colorful and pretty. They are the perfect size and soft. My cats are very happy and I am very pleased!
