It does the job. Very good.

I bought this piece to replace a cheaper one. This is heavy duty and high quality stainless steel. Definitely worth the money.

Good quality bushing. However, in addition to the internal size the OUTSIDE dimension of the groove needs to be checked carefully. The listing shows all the dimensions. This bushing has extra room for a 5/16" spit rod BUT the groove was too big to fit into the existing slots for the spit rod bushing on my grill. If you can, borrow a caliper or micrometer to measure your grill's slots. Used both a Dremel and a metal file to enlarge the slots - working fine now.

I picked this up so I could run temperature probes on a rotisserie chicken or rib roast. I suggest this size to have ample room for the probe wires.Also, if you're asking how this works - you mount the 'base' of your thermometer system on the rotisserie handle, and then run the probes through the gap of this rod bushing. That way it will not tie up and you can monitor your meat's internal temperature.
