This watch is excellent value for its price. When fully wound it will keep going for 42 hours. As a manual wind up watch it doesn't need to be worn for 4 to 5 hours per day to keep it running. Just gently wind it up at the same time every day and then you can decide to wear it for an hour or all day. Watch gains about 24 seconds a day. On the minus side the date function on this watch is not quick-set so it has to be manually wound many times to set the correct date. To wind the watch up just unlock the screw down crown and then gently turn the crown clockwise whilst applying slight outward pressure until you feel resistance of the crown to turning. The watch is then fully wound but don't forget to screw the lock down crown back clockwise to mantain the water resistance of the watch. To set the time, again unlock the screw down crown and gently pull it out until you feel a click then the time can be set and again gently push the crown back and then screw it down onto its lock down thread to maintain its water resistance.

Product is good but I jumped into swimming the water get inside the watch. Sent back to seller and buy another Vostok 200m water resistant watch. Friendly advice,visit you need go swimming , still advise go vostok 100m or 200m watch.
