Take this doc and combine it with some display port to HDMI cables and you can use dual external monitors with your M1 MacBook Air! Perfect for my needs.

Not sure why I thought this was a HDMI connection but the DP port didn't work out well. Had to use my HP laptop for it to work.

Getting right into it! This is just what I was looking for! I love doing tech reviews and working from home means upgrading my office. As far as this ALOGIC Dual 4K Display Universal Docking Station goes, I just got a new 49' monitor and wanted a docking station that would work with Mac and Windows and this is it!Pros:1. I have tried several docking stations and found it really hard to find one that would work with my Dell (work) laptop, my 2019 MacBook Pro and my 2021 Macbook with the M1 chip. THIS WORKS WITH ALL 3 and I am absolutely loving it.2. I love the fact that this docking station comes with a USB-C / USB-A cable that makes it compatible with USB-C and USB-A devices. I am easily able to unplug my work laptop and then just plug right up to my Mac. For me, this is game-changing. I no longer have to have a bunch of cables laying around for Windows and then my Macs. When using with USB-C, the docking station will also charge your laptop. If you connect your laptop or computer using the USB-A side of the cable, just know that it will not charge your device. As long as you have your laptop's power supply this will not be an issue.3. I absolutely love how I can mirror or extend my monitors. The picture quality is amazing! I was using 2 external monitors, but now I am using a 49' monitor. This dock worked with both!4. I've tried several hubs, adapters, and docking stations and I can attest with confidence that over the month that I've been using this ALOGIC Dual 4K Display Universal Docking Station, the GB ethernet consistently got me will in the upper 950+MBS. I have 1 GB internet and this literally almost maxed at the 1GB every time I used it. LOVE THIS5. This ALOGIC Dual 4K Display Universal Docking Station comes with 3 USB-A 3.1 ports and 1 USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 port. Here is why this is so cool and critical for me. I use Final Cut Pro and make a lot of videos. I also upload and edit a lot of pictures. The speed of these 3.1 and 3.2 ports is FAST! The time it takes me to transfer files from my camera to my computer is now so fast. My last docking station had USB-A 2.0 and USB-C 3.0 and I can 100% see the difference in the speeds with this ALOGIC Dual 4K Display Universal Docking Station.6. I personally find the port placement perfect. All the main cables in the back and 1 USB-A 3.1 port / USB-C 3.1 port in the front plus the headphone jack. This makes it super easy to plug in my SD card using one of the ports and makes it super easy to plug in my headphones.7. My MacBook uses a 96W power block but I have had zero issues with the 65W that is put out with this docking station.8. This ALOGIC Dual 4K Display Universal Docking Station comes with every power supply cable you can think of. No matter where you go in the world, if you have a power outlet, you can plug this up.9. Lastly, over the time that I've been using this, I have had zero issues with heat. It does get normally warm but that's it. At the same time, I am using a 49' inch monitor, uploading photos and videos, and editing videos so the warmth it gives off is expected.Overall, I love this docking station and give it an easy 5***** star rating.

I got a new laptop and a docking station and thought my new laptop was a downgrade due to not being able to connect as many monitors as I had before, didn't realize it was the docking station. I got this docking station and was able to connect my 4k and 2x2k monitors (1 via USB to HDMI) along with the laptop screen, so 4 total monitors working together great. This comes with all the international plugs with the dock. This has the power needed to drive the monitors and power the laptop, I like the power button on the front of the docking station. The 3 USB 3 ports are enough for the simple things like any flash drives, external drives or just a keyboard and mouse. There is also the USB C port on the for anything else. I have had one issue when I disconnected my laptop and reconnected it and the displays weren't working, but just a simple power off and on of the dock was able to get it working again. This is great for my work setup.
