Great book. This book will answer a lot of questions if you what to build a fishing rod

This is a very in-depth book with step by step instructions on how to lay the pattern out. You use your own judgement on what color you choose to inlay within the pattern. The man who wrote the book spent many years figuring how to lay the thread in the design.

Very complex

Dale Clemens has done it again and created a great book on working with rods. The patterns are great and a lot of them.His use of tape to create a pattern works and I have created some of my own using this method.

Excellent visual and instruction guide. Very detailed, easy to follow instructions.

Could not be better or more informative. Can be used by any rodbuilder, regardless of experience. If you only want one book on thread art, this is the one.

NIce book, a little dated but one of the very few books out on this type of work. If you are just getting into doing thread art on fishing rods, this book is a must.

Dale Clemens wrote a great book! It takes a little time to read and understand, but it's well worth the effort. This is a goldmine of information

Absolutely superb resource and information book

Great book for rod builders who want to add another string to their bow, still working my way through it, explains techniques well but takes a bit of time to fully understand.

A very helpful , informative volume and I hope to turn out some creditable rods one day when I get round to it
