Ashman Black Ground Anchor (8 Pack) 15 Inches in Length and 10MM Thick in Diameter with 65 Feet of Rope

It takes some muscle to get them into my clay soil but holy moly they arent going anywhere! I dont think my truck could pull these things out. You gotta really push down while turning to get them to bite into the soil. I did a bunch of them yesterday and im sore today.

They work well for being some of the cheapest when I bought them I have really inconsistent soil where I used them... when i could find good spots to screw them in they have held well.. they have not budged an inch and have experienced sustained some 40+ mph winds.

I’ve bought these twice now. Once to anchor my pergola and then to anchor a rose arbor. These work really well. For the pergola, which is pretty large (4x4 beams) I used a chain rather than the rope that come with this, just because I thought it would say longer and I wouldn’t have to worry about it wearing out or rotting over time. But these really dig in and stay put.

I really like the ease and simplicity of use of these things. As long as you have the right type of sturdy tool to fit in the eye and help you twist them in the ground. The rope length could definitely be longer as well. In my experience, 25 ft was only about half of what I actually needed. Perhaps your reading this and planting a tree from naught but a seed and then plan to stake it when it is 3 ft tall. Then it would be enough rope. Apart from that though, they were very functional. They aren't an eye sore like so many others I've either used or seen used.

I have nothing bad to say about these anchors. They are very sturdy and were relatively easy to put in place. And when they were screwed down as far as I could turn them in (with just they eye barely above ground), They lock down so well that I think the frame of my greenhouse would bend and break before the anchors would come up. I've been through 3 storms so far that had winds in excess of 60 mph and these anchors were up to the task. They are well worth the price for the peace of mind they give.

My first impression right out of the box is that they're really well made and are coated to prevent rusting. I am not fully certain that they will hold my trampoline in place if the wind is strong enough. However, I cant fully blame the product, I do believe my soil has more to do with it. They seem very wobbly even as they're completely sunken into the ground.But overall they seem okay. Customer service on this product was inferior than what I am used to, when I contacted the seller I got an email directing me to the amazon's customer service. Regardless of who ships the product, if your name is on the product stand behind it and go out of your way to help the customer.

I got these for an improvement over the stakes that came with my shelter. Very impressed after the kid hit it with the riding mower it stayed in place and only bent a little. Stalled the tractor though!
