EZ Grill 2531 Portable Disposable Instant Barbeque, Regular Size

I love these things.I come from South Africa and they are readily available all over there, I have struggled to find them here in the USA. I bought some on amazon to use for tailgating, picnics or at the beach.They have been very useful - work very well - grill meat fine. Disposable so no cleaning up (aside from dropping things in the trash) or carrying things home. They last as long as they need to.A bit pricier than I would like - but perhaps thats because the EZ Grill doesnt have any current competition...A highly recommended product.

There were numerous problems with this disposable grill: 1) there was not enough charcoal in the package to heat four medium-size hamburgers, 2) many of the charcoal pieces did not "catch" and were still completely black long after the other correctly-behaving charcoal pieces had heated, done their job, become ash-colored, and turned cold, and 3) after following the directions for charcoal heating time, it took about 45 minutes for the burgers to cook to a medium-to-medium/rare level of doneness, with some of the burgers ending up more done than others due to the sparseness of charcoal pieces in the unit. We had ordered 8 of these grills, and ended up returning the remaining 7.

I have no idea why they discontinued this product. For the price, it is amazing! Lights very easily, even in slightly windy conditions, and lasts long enough to cook for 2-3 people! Wow!It is NOT the same as as full size grill, but when out camping, this works just great!Cleanup is easy - throw water on it, and when it is cool, drain the water, and throw it into the trash

My family purchased three of these to use on vacation. Although they light and clean up easily, we were disappointed with the results. The package is only about 1/2 to 2/3 full of briquettes, and not all of them light, even if you follow directions to the letter. It took over an hour to cook a meal for four people, because only small areas of the grill were hot enough to cook anything. We had to disassemble our kabobs and cook the pieces individually in order to get them cooked at all, and ended up sealing salmon in aluminum foil in order to try and distribute some of the heat.This size grill is probably sufficient for one or two people who are cooking and not in a hurry, but not for a family with kids unless you have a lot of time and patience to sit around and wait for each individual "course" of your meal. Putting something like this together yourself (with aluminum pans from the grocery store, a bag of Kingsford, and a small grill rack) would probably work better, just because you could put in enough briquettes to fill the entire pan. Might be worth experimenting.

Starting with the delivery - quick and actually before promised. This is a great little portable throw away grill. Worked really good and easy to start. The bonus utensil that came with it is quite nice also. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a small, easy to pack and carry, throw away for no fuss or mess grill. I would definitely purchase again, even just to have on hand.

unless you have a very small purpose. the party size is really what you need for tailgating. The product is good but this is pretty tiny.

I bought this for a surprise dinner for my girlfriend at the beach. Even though it was windy it started right up and kept burning for over an hour and a half (When it stats getting low just shuffle the charcoal into a group on one side). We managed to cook three courses and do fondue and still had heat left. I would definitely recommend this product with my only suggestion being to bring tin foil depending on what you're cooking because it gets HOT for the first 30 minutes. The only negative I can think if is that it may be tricky to get the charcoal to rest evenly or where you want it but it really wasn't a problem. Will be purchasing more of these in the future!

Did not perform as expected. Burgers sit to close to the charcoal and was slow to cook. I am going to look for a portable gas grill for future use.

It didn't light up and I had to use extra paper to do it!

Wouldn't light so got firelighters and still the coal wouldn't burn waste of money
