Edison Bulb 60W ST64 Antique Retro Vintage Squirrel Cage Filament Dimmable Warm Light Teardrop Style Replacement Bulbs

These are excellent bulbs but please note they are NON-DIMMING, other than that they are excellent in design and quality. Very clear and equal to at least 40-50 watts of light. I am a repeat buyer and they were dimming at one point, please do not confuse the reviews stating that they are. The seller has clearly changed the text to state this, please rely on that info and not the previously dated reviews.Other than the dimming situation, I strongly recommend these bulbs, they look great and add quite a bit of character.Below is my previous review:The discussion in reviews, clearly states they are a dimming version, however some specify LED dimmers are recommended and other say any dimmer will work. (Which is actually true in some cases, however you will not have a full ratio of dimming capability with any dimmer)In the listing text itself it specifies non-dimming. So I ordered blindly with this conflicting info.PLEASE NOTE I PURCHASED 5 BOXES OF 6 AND THEY ARE NOT DIMMING.If you are using them for on only, they are just great, nice and bright with a normal shade of hue, not dirty inside as some reviewers stated. However.... do not buy these and expect them to dim, please buy a different version and learn from my mistake, now I have to ship back 30 bulbs.P.S. To avoid confusion when you do have an authentic dimming version, do buy the Lutron Diva DVCL-153PWH this dimmer is a true LED version and will give you flicker free, full range capability. A standard rotary dimmer will also work, however they were not intended for LED bulbs at the time they were made, so you will notice they will dim down about 1/2 way and go off (completely black), this is not the bulbs fault, do use the right dimmer and you will avoid the pitfall. Also "NEVER" use a Lutron Maestro dimmer that is not regulated for LED specifically, it will blow out the higher range of the bulb and you will end up with a very dim bulb... no way to recapture the high settings since it is now burned out. If you see reviews stating a "night light" quality of light, that is the issue. They burned out the higher degree's of the bulb. (In general any dimmer that has light up mini LED lights running down the side of it have computer chips to give you this fancy option, this will fight the chip in the bulbs and cause issues) Please note, if you have "CL" in your dimmer number you do have the version that will work with LED bulbs. The Diva I mentioned has the cleanest look with the least issues, and I design lighting for a living, hope this clears up a few questions if you noticed the conflicting reviews.

These have a very vintage feel and warm amber glow and looked very nice in our dining room fixture. Quite nice, indeed. But they are too amber for our needs. So we returned them and ordered a set of clear ("white") ones. Also very nice and also dimmable! Certainly brighter, even at the lowest settings, but that's what we wanted.HOWEVER...gonna give a BIG THUMBS DOWN FOR THE VENDOR I BOUGHT FROM. "We accepted your return and are processing your refund". That was back in Sept. 2017. A few emails later, no response from them. There doesn't seem to be any way to file an A-Z claim with Amazon for this particular order. WATCH OUT!

This product arrived in perfect conditions and promptly. Great great deal for the price.I love the old time look and I also like the size of the bulb. Looks great in our newly renovated kitchen. My boyfriend does think they are a little too bright when you look directly into it. Some people might not think this is an issue because they want more light and that's totally okay!I posted a picture of the bulb in my large glass kitchen pendant. I focused on the bulb so you could see the filament so don't think that this bulb is dim.Overall very happy with this company and product.

Ordered as an energy efficient replacement of the incandescent Edison bulbs that came with my light fixture.The bulbs that came with the light were 60 watts. I ordered the 45w equivalent LEDs and they are much brighter than the 60w that came with the fixture. This is likely cause the 60s came with yellowed glass vs. the LEDs' clear glass, just consider it before ordering. If the fixture is hanging around eye level I would definitely get bulbs with tinted glass as they are somewhat straining to the eyes without.They do seem slightly "whiter" than other 2700k bulbs in my house but it's a minor issue.

We were looking for a tinted amber warm Edison bulb and must have ordered 4 or 5 six packs until we finally got the right one. It was the Mayfair 60W ST64. They are also the biggest of the ST64's that we bought. We returned all of the others and ordered another Mayflower 6 pack. The size does vary when it seems like it should not if you order the 'same size' and shape. Anyway, we are new to the Edison trend, but we are really excited about how these will look in our new indoor and outdoor fixtures at our new house! I cannot speak to how long they will last, but at least they were not broken when they arrived and they are the right kind of bare-bulb light we were looking for.

These are excellent edison bulbs at very good price. I've found some lower but the quality of these is superior, also the cheaper ones usually are clear, not that big of a deal, but the amber is excellent. These also have an interesting wire on the inside, not just a thin wire, it has a texture which is a great detail that most people other than me wouldn't notice.I received the package of 6 and 2 of them were broken, the seller followed up with an email, and refunded me for the two broken items, excellent customer service. I have bought a large number of these type of bulbs from various vendors, and that was the first time that that happened.

The light bulbs arrived today in excellent packaging/condition (none were broken). We ordered 2 boxes for our chandelier. The bulbs do have an Edison look/shape, but are brighter than I expected. My chandelier does not have glass, so the 8 bulbs are exposed. When turned on, they are bright enough to hurt your eyes if you look directly at them. I was worried they would be too dark, but they light up my room pretty bright. A dimmer switch would be great if you want to get a dim look. I like them and will keep them because of the energy efficiency of the LED vs. the incandescent Edison bulbs. Very giod value for the price.
