5 stars for the Book, 1 star for printing error
5 Stars for the book!! I have Liz's first book and have made almost everything from the book. Every recipe from that book is delicious and I'm confident that it will be the same for this book. Prior to learning from Liz how to plan for my dinners, I would cook once and eat leftovers for almost the whole week. Boring. However, since I saw Liz's approach to dinner, I have learned to place a greater emphasis on family dinnertime. My family enjoys dinnertime so much more now and I enjoy trying new recipes. Now I take the time to plan and then prepare delicious meals and we look forward to eating together. I've found that planning really is the key. I've also learned to make smaller portions for my small family and to have a variety of food throughout the week. We use dinnertime to talk and connect with each other. I'm happy to have more recipes from Liz to try and enjoy. This book seems to have more recipes(than her previous book) and a greater range of meals within each theme night. I'm excited to try them--especially the eggs benedict, the curry and chicken taquitos! She has more pizza recipes that I'm excited to try as well (Fri. is my kid's favorite meal!). When I'm stuck on what to fix, I just turn to her book for that theme night and pick a recipe. Hands down, her french bread is our favorite and is so easy my daughter can make it by herself.1 Star for printing.....sadly, on pg. 281 there is an oval spot on the page where it is blank...it did not copy. It is not too large and I can figure out the recipe, it just annoying that it has the defect. Hope that gets fixed!!

Life changing'
The Food Nanny is life changing! Her plan and recipes simplify the dinner process allowing a better opportunity for you to grow and connect as a family! The recipes are delicious and easy to follow! I have been following her plan for a few years now and it hasc. Hanged the way we have dinner! My children are involved in every bit, from planning to creating, to eating! If you want to change up your dinner routine, improve your budget for food, and bring joy back into dinner time this is the book you need!

Love the Food Nanny
I have Liz Edmund’s first cookbook, The Food Nanny Rescues Dinner. This one levels up with recipes that require more finesse and gourmet ingredients. I would say the recipes are intermediate level. My only suggestion is that the index also include the recipes listed by name rather than only in the theme sections as I can’t always remember which section has the recipe I need. I came across Liz’s first book in a book review catalog when it was first published in 2010, when my kids were small. Fast forward 15 years and my copy is well loved and stored in a 3 ring binder. I bought new ones to give to my kids when they head out on their own. It’s full of our favorite, easy to cook, and I would say fool proof family recipes. Can’t say enough good things about it. I have a slightly different salt pallet it seems than the recipes so I often adjust salt amounts more or less. I hope that a second edition of The Food Nanny Rescues Dinner will be printed. I highly recommend it. This second one - Does it Again - is for the more adventurous cook.

Delicious and Easy Food
Both of Liz's books have very clear and easy plans to follow. Her recipes are delicious and typically very easy to make. Whether you follow the nightly plan exactly or not; this book has recipes you will integrate into your weekly dinners. Most of these meals are for families. Although, it's just me and my husband at home, we make these meals and then save tons of money by bringing the left overs to work the next day for lunch. Liz's 2 week shopping list is such a helpful guide for young people starting out or for anyone trying to get their dinner schedule organized. Thank you!

Great food, great philosophy in a book for real life
Get this book now! Her philosophy and recipes are life savers. Anytime I need a recipe for a family dinner or a get together, I go straight to her books. They are all perfectly seasoned and simple to make but taste like you've spent hours prepping. The chocolate cupcakes and her cheese and spinach stuffed chicken are perfection. I dream about them both. As do all I've served them to. I'm really not exaggerating. This will become your go-to cookbook. If I had to write cons it would be that the book's photography is not as fancy as other cookbooks that I have, but that is nitpicking.Yay Food Nanny!

She really did save dinner!
After meeting Liz Edmunds, I HAD to buy this book. She is such a fun person and has done tons of research on cooking AND the importance of family dinner time. We have loved almost every recipe that we have tried. My husband often asks: "is this a food nanny recipe", when I say yes he always says: "thank you food nanny, I love you!". Making dinner a priority has become easier with lots of new recipes that I can easily make and everyone loves! Not to mention, I am using a lot more veggies when I cook now, which is a big bonus!

You NEED this!
Her cook books are the best! Easy meals made with easy to find items! Don't get overwhelmed by making a meal plan. It does take a little longer at first but then the rest of the week when you can come home and know that you have a plan! It feels great!! I am a full time working mom of four. Cooking dinner and eating together has changed our family. I used my first Food Nanny Cookbook so much that it fell apart! Buy it, use it! Your entire family will love it!

Another amazing cook book!
Liz's first book is my all time favorite cook book (and I think it's so cute that she's holding it in the cover picture to this book). I've made probably 50% of the recipes in it, and we've loved almost every one. This book does not disappoint either! She has included more of her friends' recipes, so it feels more broad, which is great. We've made probably 10 to 15 recipes out of this new book, and each one has been terrific! Thank you, Liz!
