I’ve tried others. My iPhone falls off of every single one. Or it’s hard to get my iPhone into their grip or remove it.But not Koomus! Never Koomus! Easy to put on it and take off. Never falls, not even a wiggle. I had the CD drive Koomus for my Kia and loved it. Now I am using the air vent Koomus for my Subaru. Love it too! And I’ve stored away the CD drive Koomus in case I need it again. I’ll never use anything other than Koomus. Loyal customer for over 8 years.

The flexibility and easy use of this product, along with a good price point makes it a a great value if you own an older vehicle!!

I've had the mount for awhile now, and I have owned other Koomus mounts previously. This mount is good overall, but the biggest issue I've had is it falls off too frequently.The grip that holds onto the vents is less powerful than previous versions of their mounts, and with the heavier Iphone X, it will fall off pretty frequently, and at random. I find myself constantly having to push it back before I put my phone on and while my phone is mounted as well. All too often, it falls off and hits my leg and ends up under my feet while I am driving. The magnet for the phone could be a little bigger as well, it's the same size as the mount face, so there is little room for error on how you place your phone on the mount.This is not a horrible buy, but it could be designed a bit better to earn 5 stars. I suggest putting a small rubber edge on the tip of the grip so that it lightly grabs onto the backside of the vent fin, which would keep it from slipping off, or go back to the previous iteration, which was much more secure. Also, include a magnet that is twice as long.

I purchased for its minimal and clean design. Fits OK on the vent of my 2017 Range Rover Sport. The magnet is strong and the metal plate fits perfectly between my phone and the case. I didn't even have to remove the adhesive. There are two things I don't like, the first one has to do with the product: I found that after a few times that you pull the phone to unhook it, the holder comes loose from the vent. Not a big deal but annoying...(I believe the blades in my vents are a bit too think for the grip). The second problem has nothing to do with the product itself but with the placement of the vents in my car; both left and center vents are located so high that it is not convenient to reach for the phone. To solve this problem I ordered a holder by the same company which will use the CD slot to hold the phone in place. I'm sure this will hide some of the car controls but offer a better reach to the phone.Overall advice: NICE product but before buying think where your vents are and how far your phone will be.
