These are beautiful, and secure if you use the double sided tape which I ordered separately. Adds a whole other cozy element to our steps. I have 14 steps, however, and there are only 13 treads, and I cannot easily figure out how to order one separate one.

I was hoping for a rubber back to limit sliding but these do not have that. However, they are easy enough to staple in place on wood stairs; it took me less than ten minutes to do the whole stairway.Seems like good quality carpet on a par with our hall runner and the appearance is better than shown in the photos, and as others have stated the red color is darker than shown in ad, which is good for me. My attached photo is more accurate representation of color. Durability is an unknown at this point.

So many stair treads are, well, unattractive. With a series of hardwood and tile stairs traveling between the basement, back door, and upper floors, we needed something to keep ourselves and the dog from dangerous slips and falls.We are so pleased with these. The colors in the treads themselves really tie together our ivory tiled stairs with the hardwood floor stairs and ivory walls. We were concerned that the pattern could be even slightly off, and end up looking badly on the stairs as well. But they all line up perfectly, and look great. And though they're still new, they feel so cushy!We purchased with the stair tread installation kit by Colonial Mills. We really need the treads to stay put, yet also didn't want to damage our wood or tile stairs. So far seems like they're easily removable for cleaning, yet they stay put unless you lift up on the tread to remove it. (Though this part took a long time to arrive.)We looked at other customers' reviews before purchasing and so glad we did. Overall very pleased with our results.

These carpet stair treads show that they are a bright red, however they are a very dark red. The seller will not pay for shipping this item back, therefore I am selling them to a friend, who likes the darker red.

Very nice only . I would give a 5 however never received landing mat and tape as advertised.

They are exactly what I wanted. The only issue I have is my stair case is 15 steps. Right now I am using 3 brown ones at the top but I would like to be able to order two singles. Anyway, they are thick and gorgeous. You must buy additional carpet tape for the corners or they will start turning up a bit.

Very nice treads. Thick enough that they provide a cushion as you walk. Nice, true colors. Has quited traffic on the stairs dramatically. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love these step rugs. They are high quality and look great on our dark reddish laminate steps. Color is true to the pictures. I got them so our small dog could easily go up and down the stairs. Working great!
