I've been buying various bike and back packing clothing for a while now. I've tried cotton combats, wool... cheap stuff and choked at the cost of fjàllraven stuff although if I had the money I'd love to try a pair. These were about 20quid over my budget but I was sick to death of trousers not fitting properly or restricting movement.I was very very happy with these. When you bend over there is no builders bum... No where near. You can stretch, squat and kneel easily without any restriction... And if your biking or back packing this is exactly what you are going to be doing. The reinforced bits seem really heavy duty and the rest are very comfortable. The crotch area seems to be made of silk... It's not... but its sooo soft and stretchy. It's very comfortable on long walks and keeps those areas free from chafing and heat. If I'm honest I'm scared this won't last as it feels so thin but I'm hoping. I completed a walk in Buxton a few weeks ago and was caught in cold gusts and rain. They trousers are very good and keeping wind out and seemed to shed water quite well. It was really rainy and windy but never once did my legs feel cold or wet. The trousers are a little on the expensive side for my liking and if they were 10quid cheaper I'm sure they would sell a lot more. Anyway... If you can stump up for the price they do appear worth it, if not only for the way they fit and feel.

My first Revolution Race product, won't be the last. Well made and well-fitting trousers (trust the size guide, it worked for me), robust design in two colours, very practical with lots of pockets for storage. Looks Scandinavian but without the price tag. Really impressed!

I'm 6'3" and 38W, size XXL fit perfectly and the leg length is just right.they look and feel well made colour as advertised (gunmetal).if they stand up to the rigours of outdoor activities and last=5stars.

Ok so I read all the reviews and decided on a small pair I'm just shy of 5'7" about 32 waist, 30/31 inside leg. They fit perfect for me from the waist,, thigh and to the knee. I would have given them 5 stars but like a few other reviews they are a tad to long. I'm still keeping them and may buy a second pair. The gather at the ankle, because of the length is acceptable but they could and should be made a bit shorter.

Great pair of trousers only fault I can find is slightly tight on the legs, and the elasticated bottoms to tight for walking boots. Still a good rugged pair of trousers of good quality

Great trousers. Good material, design and quality. Just totally miss-selling on sizes. I ordered a Large, they sent me a medium. No biggee, I'll just send them back for the correct size. But after I tried them on, I measured the inside leg of the medium and it comes in at 35", as opposed to 31" they advertise. As others have said, you end up with a load of scrunched up material at the bottom of you leg, which is annoying. Dread to think how long the Large ones are going to be? Watch this space. Small point but the elasticated cuff at the bottom is also limited in it's expandability and I struggled to get it over my walking boots. Shame about the tailoring elements, as I really like the design of them.

Used for everyday use and hiking, bike riding can’t fault.
