Portable & wireless
This is the second Ezviz camera I've got but this is even better because its rechargeable, wireless, small & portable. Easy setup, strong signal, great design & quality. Easy connectivity to wifi & app. Just what I expected from Ezviz product, lots of positives. Lucky to have got this at a reduced price because the next time I checked the price had gone up!

Nice camera, a real shame about the poor help and support
The camera met most of my expectations based on the description given, it was easy to set up and works well. The pictures are great and the basic functions are easy to use. Every works well except the motion detection and tracking which is next to useless. The camera only seems to detect motion which is directly in front of it. Most of the time is seems to track ghosts wondering around on its pedestal aimlessly. That said, I still like this product. However, the big disappointment is that the product only comes with a 'quick start guide', no full user manual is packaged with it and none is available to download. So, I can use all the basic functions but with everything else I'm on my own. There are many things I do not understand and am still trying, by trial and error to figure out. I still don't know what is recorded on the SD Card vs the Cloud Storage, nor how to download images. I can't work out how to pan/tilt and zoom at the same time and I only found out there is a PC application to use the camera after stumbling across it online while looking for something else.

DO NOT buy this camera! Junk!
UPDATE: Camera switched itself on randomly and began barking at me in Chinese again. I could not for the life of me switch it off as the rear button failed to work. I had to bust the housing open and yank out the battery cable to physically switch the damn thing off.The app is complete garbage and locks up 9/10 times you open it. It stores your passwords and makes them visible even if you have the phone set to not store said wifi passwords. It overrides your phone settings. You CANNOT just switch it on and use it to record an area with the memory card as the company clearly wants your data. This has cost me £60 I'll never get back, plus the £100 for the bigger one I'm now too afraid to even open. As a minimum wage earner in a rough area I will say companies need to make better cameras.Original review:Completely app dependent. Constantly has a Chinese lady shouting down tiny speaker.Great for security if you want a woman barking at you in a foreign language. Cannot even use this without an app. An app that wants a TON of personal data from you and has been flagged by some forums. Why can we not just have stuff that works privately, quietly, without sending huge amounts of data to google, china and even here? Why do they want my financial details?I would give this ZERO stars if I could. Only plus side is I could throw it at the person that keeps thieving from us.It keeps telling me the camera is locked. "password on the product label". There is no password on any label. App is absolutely useless.

Could have been much better but lacking expected basic options...
I had high hopes for the BC2 mini camera but sadly returned as it lacked some basic features found in much cheaper wifi albeit mains powered cameras. The positives:Completely wire free and portable, reasonable size and clear footage with minimal audio video lag.The negatives:The bottom of the camera is the only magnetic part to attach the mount, you cannot attach the magnetic mount to the top or sides so if you want to mount upside down from ceiling or fixture you cannot flip image! Cheaper cameras have flip / invert option so for a £65 camera at time of purchase it is an oversight. No option to override IR night vision lamps. At night there is a constant red glow which is fine in most cases and you might not mind the IR cut click on and off, would have expected option to override such as a Day / Night / Auto as found in other cameras for a third of the price. It's an indoor camera - if pointing out through a window and you have sufficient street lighting you would want to turn off IR to stop glow / glare, reflection.EZVIZ app menus and options seem disorganised and all over the place. You have a Profile menu that contain device related options such as Storage, My Album, Device Network Tools and LAN Live View. Why?Then you have a toolbar with Library for recorded events (why have My Album too?) and then for each device there are further device menus.Menus contain some settings with no description of what the setting is for.I don't know why menus / toolbar can't be more streamlined or customised for example Account, Storage, Device, Library.Live View prompts you to continue viewing after a very short period of time so you can't monitor continuously. There was an option in one of the menus to set power profiles but seemed more for battery life and no indication of live view session timeout. Given the above negatives it was frustrating to keep enduring the menus any longer than an hour. Not intuitive where or how to delete recorded events. You can't delete from a timeline of events but you can delete from within another menu. Don't ask me where because menus are confusing...A minor annoyance is a permanent Cloud storage ad banner on main screen that cannot be closed / removed when using microSD card as storage. Conclusion: If EZVIZ tidied up app menus and introduced IR override and flip invert then it would be a competitive device especially being wire free and for the 30% reduced price since time of review / returned order. If you don't have specific mounting, orientation and low light needs, it's OK. Did not own long enough to test real battery life usage. There is a new CB2 version but I don't know if it has new features other than USB-C that will resolve these negatives.

Fantastic product
Fantastic product for a variety of applications. Have it set up as an indoor security camera with constant USB power- very easy to hide and captures high quality footage with clear sound. The night vision is also fantastic due to its infrared light, which turns on automatically in low light. You can set the distance and sensitivity of motion detection, and it’s very well thought out. Highly recommend this product

Great little camera thus far!
I wanted a small camera for my tortoise Wilma!....so I can keep an eye on her, making sure she is not having any unauthorized parties!. Its a great picture & I can even have a little chat with her about the volume of the music. seriously thou I have only had it two days so cannot comment on battery life but it has ticked my boxes thus far.
