610 (County of Chester) Auxiliary Air Force Squadron, 1936-1940

This is probably the best history of an RAF Squadron during the early years of WWII that has ever been written. It combines a comprehensive survey of events, detailed listings of sorties, combat reports, letters and other documents, plus lots of well selected photos, placed logically throughout the text. If only other RAF squadron histories were half as good as this!Peter Cook

Well written, great day by day combats and squadron history, especially useful for 1940 and the Battle of Britain and Dunkirk period air fighting.

This book even had sections about my father and his service with the Squadron which I found fascinating.
