Wonderful product - worth the money!
I ordered one of these in May. I did not use it until August when I was setting up my classroom. It would not heat much less melt the glue. I reached out to the company through Amazon and the product was replaced. The replacement works perfectly and heats up quickly. It's easy to use and can be used anywhere as it is not confined to a cord! The customer service I received was top notch! They responded to my inquiry within two hours and the replacement was shipped within the same day. Will not hesitate to purchase another product from this brand or seller!

Great cordless option!
was very surprised at how well this works, heats up very fast much better than a corded option, and works perfect with Milwaukee batteries

Works great!
I have the M18 version and works as good as a corded glue gun. Highly recommend

Fits the DeWalt 20v battery (not included) perfectly.
Appears and feels to be solidly built. Heats up quickly and the included glue sticks perform as expected. My only criticism is that the device lacks a thermostat or auto shut off if the gun is left on. You must remember to turn it off.

FREEDOM!!
Last summer I designed the sets for our VBS program and only had corded glue guns to work with. I do not like being on a leash! Having to drag an extension cord all of the the place to be able to glue the heck out of the waterfall I was building out of Amazon boxes and paper was so irritating! Since I was under time restraints I just had to suck it up and deal with it but as soon as I was done I was online looking for a cordless glue gun.I have Makita drills so I already have batteries, which is why I chose this one. My battery slipped right into place with no issues and the gun heats up fast! With that big battery on it it does make for a much heavier gun than your typical corded glue gun but the trade off is the freedom to move around with it. It's fairly balanced but you might experience some fatigue if your battery is heavy. Just be aware of that.It does heat up fast and even so gluing with it is as you'd expect. With the battery attached I just stand it up on that, no need for a stand. It does dribble a little once it's heated so I stand it on a silicone mat to catch the dribbles. I will say, for most of my smaller crafting I do opt for the corded glue guns just because they are smaller, have a more detailed tip and are easier to maneuver in the little areas I'm using them for but for larger jobs this glue gun is fantastic. It's a matter of using the right tool for the right job and this glue gun is for bigger jobs where you need the freedom to move around. Can you use it for little spaces and detailed gluing? Yes, but it's easier to finesse the little guns than this bad boy so I opt to have more than one glue gun. This also doesn't have hi/low options so if that's something you need you won't find it here.I'm gearing up to do VBS again and I'm looking forward to being off leash! I 100% would buy this again.

Excellent - very fast to heat and works with Dewalt as advertised
I tried different size Dewalt 20V Max batteries. They all worked as advertised. The battery fit is absolutely perfect and my my timing, it took just a little over 1 minute to melt the glue. The first time you feed a glue stick, it will "eat" about half of the stick to feed the tip of the glue gun but after that, after the 1 minute warm up, the glue comes right out. The best part of this glue gun is that with the battery installed, it will stay upright on your workbench and not need a separate stand like the corded glue guns. In addition, there was very little drip after use. In the three times I used it so far, I think there was one drop after the first use only and nothing for the other two times. I think it's partly because the glue gun is not tilted forward in a stand like the corded ones. I find this a bonus and makes cleanup a breeze. Also, the included glue sticks are very good quality and dry clear and not cloudy.

Works well but be careful
I really like this glue gun with one caveat, I will give ratings then explain.Pros:• Works as described and works on both Makita and Makita clone batteries.• Feels well made (mostly) nice brass tip solid feeling body• Heats glue up well and works like a charm when up and running.• Good customer serviceCons:• Be wary about squeezing the trigger before the glue is fully heated.I bought this gun since I have makita tools in my garage and it was compatible and at a good price, its nicely designed and fits right in and could pass for another makita product at a glance. The gun has an on switch and a nice bright light on the base to tell you it is turned on. It accepts full size sticks, not the mini ones. I used it a few times and was really happy. This was until I turned it on and did not give it enough time to warm up to full temperature. I squeezed the trigger with a moderate amount of pressure and the feeder device for the glue sticks snapped and stopped feeding. Now this is not the first glue gun I have owned, though it is my first cordless and I have never broken a feeder mechanism before so i was not giving it the gorilla grip. I reached out to the company, through the information that came with the glue gun and they requested a proof of purchase, with that they sent out a new one with out any issues. I still like the gun but I am going to make sure it is fully heated in the future before I pull the trigger again. I gave it 5 stars because mine may have been a lemon, and the company was quick to resolve it and I do like it.
