This thing works by evaporative cooling... if the air is already saturated with moisture (as it basically always is in Florida) it won't do much. So you just need to use it in appropriate circumstances. If you're in heat where the dew point isn't crazy high, it works and feels nice. Especially if you can take it off and flip it over once in a while. Also helps when you first get it to break up the little polymer clusters before you soak it the first time.

Love this cooling wrap. Exactly whet I was looking for. I will probably order another one.

Useless. Purchased for my husband who works outdoors. It did not stay cool and ended up just being a wet rag around his neck that was more uncomfortable than helpful.

I bought this for a boy to take to church camp, and he loved it.
