I've started growing gourmet mushrooms in a gorilla grow tent & wanted a humidifier external to the tent to maintain proper moisture levels.I decided on this reptile fogger for several reasons-- Included hose for fogging into tent externally- Top fill design for easy refills / no hassle spilling water everywhere inverting to fill- Relatively big 4 liter capacity- Not digital control / will always turn on when it receives power if set to humidify (useful when using in conjunction with a timed switch or humidity controller / hygrometer switch)- Indicator LED is easy to cover with black tape for a light-sensitive sleeper- No beeping sounds when turning on & the ultrasonic whir is quiet- Sits decently & level on a 6.1" depth wall-shelf with minimal overhang- Relative decent price for size & featuresIt's been working great! I leave it on max power and have it plugged into my Elitech humidity controller. The combination has not been using very much water, which is great for not needing to constantly refill or purchase a lot of water.I'm hoping it will last long but will update if it does not. I am being sure to use only distilled water to fill it, as the minerals in tap water can clog the device & also be a nutrient source for contamination to grow. I am liking it so much thus far that I will be buying another to humidify my bedroom.

Bought the thermostat that goes with it. Use it in my tortoise enclosure. It produces a fog which is cool but kinda wish it wasn’t foggy. Makes enclose non visible at times. But works great. Would recommend.Be sure to clean parts weekly or it will flood your floor. Learned this the hard way. It just pukes water from tank onto floor.

Less than two months after I got this humidifier its tank began leaking whenever I would fill it. This was almost imperceptible at first, a couple droplets forming around the rim of the tank. I assumed this was condensation and placed a drip tray under its base.This rapidly accelerated over the course of a few days and by the final time it ran, the drip tray I had placed under it to catch droplets filled with the contents of half of the tank while I was out of the room, the water level rising up into the innards of the machine. The device no longer starts.It worked great until this point, but potential water damage to your house and furniture or electrical fires are not a risk worth taking in my book.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this for six months and haven’t had a single issue. I have this placed in plant cabinet to keep my tropical plants in some humidity. My plants love the fine mist/fog. Super easy so fill and maintain. I have to look for a flaw, it would be the enclosed hygrometer/thermometer, he temps are in celsius. Would prefer fahrenheit. This is perfect for plants!

EDIT: I luckily kept the box, and paperwork I decided to check to see if there was any kind of warranty. There is a one year warranty, and they provided an email to contact them. I reached out to them, and explained what was going on. They had me do some brief troubleshooting, which confirmed it would no longer work. They promptly sent me a replacement for no charge. Very pleased with their customer service, hopefully the new one will last longer.I do not recommend anyone but this. I only got 3 months of use out of it. It completely stopped working! I was only using it 5 minutes a day. So not very good quality for the price!

This is the latest addition to my mushroom grow kit. No more misting everyday with a spray bottle. I have it set up on a smart plug to run for a half hour every morning. It has worked perfectly. Glad I got it.

I like that it has a long hose and the vapor comes out quickly. The dial has enough variability to accommodate whatever you need in a reptile cage, which is a big advantage over others that have only 2 or 3 settings. The problem I have is that they don't last very long. I keep a humidifier running 16 hours a day and I've gone through 3 of these in about a year. The problem is that the lid is really hard to get off to add water. It is very flush with the tank and there is no lip to grab, so you have to wedge your fingers into the ridge where the hose comes out and try to get it to move. In the process of doing that, it's really easy for the whole tank to shift slightly and then the water pours out and floods the electronics and ruins it. The one I have now (the 4th one) leaks if you fill it more than about 1/3, so I have to add water several times a day, which is not ideal. I don't think I'll buy a 5th.

I use this as a humidifier for an indoor orchid cabinet. I loved it at first, but it has leaked out on me twice now. I was lucky to be nearby and see the huge puddle on my floors and could clean it before it soaked in. After the first leak I took it apart, cleaned meticulously, and reassembled. It seemed to fix the problem, but a month later it happened again. This time no amount of cleaning seems to stop the leak. And the mist only works for about ten seconds after reassembling before it floods out again. If this worked properly it would be my favorite fogger that I’ve ever used on my orchid collection. But it is not to be trusted, unfortunately.
