blade is weak a bends easily

Absolutely useless, blade bent on the first slice and didn't go through the cheese,Unless your using dairylea triangles look fo something different

I love this stainless steel cheese slicer, it has precise tick marks and the blade cuts very smoothly and effortlessly, making very neat thin slices of cheese. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that there is also a sharpener and a new blade. There are four non-slip pads on the bottom, which can hold the slicer in place when in use, the most worth mentioning is the lock on the bottom, which can fix the blade after use, the cheese slicer is also easy to clean, I wipe it with a towel, in short , Worth buying, a good choice for gifts, highly recommended!

The first blade got broken at the first attempt of slicing a block of cheese (not that hard), the slicer per sé it's so poorly built that place the second blade it's been a lengthy and frustrating process, and I could see why the blade got broken...of course Amazon took it back and sent a refund, but still, don't waste your time on that.

The blade in this makes it useless. It used to be a wire which did the trick perfectly but now they have swapped to this blade it drags and squashes the cheese. We use it for goat cheese logs and it’s terrible.Might be ok for harder stuff I don’t know but ours has gone in the bin now.

This thing is rubbish, I used it once and not only did it do a terrible job cutting the cheese but it couldn't even stay in a straight line and easily bent.Then on the 2nd attempt, it just straight up snapped! See included images to show what I mean.I absolutely do not recommend this.

Bought this product and very disappointed in it. The blade does not cut well and seems to bend when we are using it and catches all the time on the base plate when dropping the blade down. Not a great product.

Thought the first blade bending was down to my error, but having used the replacement blade, it just bends on cutting cheddar cheese and that results on it catching the metal at the edge of the slot. Bought as a cheese slicer and it doesn't.
