My cat ripped two mice opened. The pellets are not sand and not plastic. What are they made of?! My pet loves them but ate the inside pellets?!

I don’t know what was in them, when I received the package and saw them, I threw them away. I felt they were a danger to my cats and kittens. Being a cat breeder, I know the danger of a cat eating something and it getting in the intestines and the surgery required to remove it.

I'm not sure what they used inside the toy. It is something like sand to make noise when you shake it. it gets the kitties attention. My cats like it when I shake it, as it alerts them I'm going to throw it.
