This thermometer is super easy to use. The end-point is very sharp, so if you plan to use it for meat then I'm sure it can be easily inserted into whatever you're measuring. The metal measuring spike is long (didn't bother to measure) so I also think your hands could be more than a couple of inches away from the heat source when you're measuring temp. As far as I can tell, it's accurate. For me, that means that I can tell that some broth I heat to add to a meal is consistent day-to-day. Comes out perfectly every time now with no guess work. Nicely designed, user-friendly, and SO convenient to have the magnet built in for easy storage. I use mine e v e r y day, and it sticks right on the side of the microwave/range-hood. I really appreciate the feature of it being right at hand. If your grill is made out of steel, you can just place this on it and it will stick. No fumbling around the kitchen looking for it every time you need it.

I decided to purchase this as I was starting to make bread and tortillas and many recipes called for the water to be within a certain temp range. The first time, I guesstimated the temp and think it was too hot as once I received this thermometer, I was 15 degrees over temp of the high end of the range. Now that I have the thermometer and use the water at the correct temp - voila! Issues solved. The thermometer does exactly what it's supposed to do.

What a great tool. I started using an analog thermometer and it was slow to register. So after getting used to working with a thermometer I ordered a folding digital thermometer. It worked fine but I broke it at the fold and needed a replacement. Hence my ordering of this digital thermometer and. Very fast reading and this one can also be used for candy making as it’s rated high enough temperature wise.

Works great! I use it mostly to check my oil temp when I’m deep frying French fries, etc.

No issues with this thermometer. Our blue tooth fancy meat thermometer continuously loses connection so we bought this as a quick replacement. It can handle hot liquids too.

This has been very accurate so day. It’s easy to read the numbers. Haven’t had any issues with battery so hopefully I won’t.
