Good primer. Great RPG for the kiddos

Call of Catthulhu is one of the simplest, zaniest, most fun RPGs out there. There are hardly any rules, which lets players concentrate on the story and pretending to be a cat! There are no numbers, not stat-heavy character sheets and no tricky-to-remember magic or insanity systems. My favourite quirk of the game is the part where players who wish to carry something (having no hands) must hold a pencil in their mouth until they want to drop it! The style of game play lends itself to short, humorous adventures and I have found an hour and a half set aside is usually sufficient for a good time. This game has proven to be an immense pleasure both with my hardcore, metagaming D&D friends and my wife's work colleagues, who had never even thought about playing an RPG before.

This was a ton of fun, it's a lean game that emphasizes a storytelling style of play. Cat owners/lovers will definitely see their own furry companions reflected in the clever character design and systems. I bought it for the Lovecraft, but I can already see how you could port the system into any context - stray cats in a hard boiled urban mystery? egyptian temple cats and the death of Cleopatra?

Ich dachte das sei ein etwas dickeres buch mit mehr Inhalt aber das ist ja ein mini heft mit nichmal 50 seiten!! Also mit einem preis von fast 10 euro hatte ich mehr erwartet :((((

O jogo é sensacional. Mas o acabamento do livro deixa a desejar.
