One of the most elegant looking Hanayama puzzles I own. Also reviewed; Chain, Infinity, and Quartet.
Words can't explain how much I love this puzzle. It just looks amazing in person. The feeling of it is so smooth, and the way the gold and silver kind of swirl together is stunning. The solution however isn't a level 6 difficulty in my opinion. It kind of fell apart as I rotated it around looking at it. It took about 2 minutes. 8 to reassemble. There is a trick to it though. It doesn't always just fall apart. Most definitely happy with my purchase, and would recommend getting one.About the Hanayama cast Chain puzzle: For some reason the review link for this puzzle came here, so I'll leave that review as well. The chain puzzle isn't the prettiest, but it is definitely a level 6. When you first look at it, it truely looks impossible to solve. Only after a while did I figure out how it moves around. I have about 40 or so Hanayama puzzles, and rarely get frustrated with them. This one was one of them though. I love it. The harder the better, is my choice. After finally solving it, you will feel so satisfied. I would recommend this to those that are hardcore puzzlers. The solution, after solving it, is quite simple. Getting to that point however, can be infuriating. Not to mention the description states there are three was to solve it depending upon which piece is in the middle. Definitely worth the time and money. The Infinity puzzle: The Infinity puzzle is a wonderful sequential solving puzzle. The two dials must be rotated in a certain ordered and pattern to solve this puzzle. It's a very nice fidget puzzle, and feels nice in your hand while trying to figure out the solution. You'll find using your pinky fingers in the holes will come in very handy. I would enjoy getting this as a gift. The review link for the Quartet puzzle also comes here. The Quartet puzzle: This puzzle certainly is a level 6. It's elegant design is just one of the qualities this puzzle possesses. With its sleek black smooth finish, you'll find it's a pleasure to work towards the solution. This is more difficult than the Infinity, but just as rewarding. Getting it back into the original shape might be more challenging than getting it apart. Definitely a good addition to my ever growing collection. If you like a challenge this puzzle is for you.

Great Build Quality, A Little Too Easy
First things first, this puzzle says "these pieces have a secret: each time their arrangement is changed when recreating the original shape, the solution changes." This is mostly false. It's true that the pieces can be put together in different ways, however the solution is the same no matter how they are assembled. It might *technically* be different, but not in any meaningful way.In terms of build quality:This is a great piece. It looks good, fees heavy and strong. Mine came slightly scuffed up, but it's very minimal to the point where you wouldn't notice unless you were examining the finish of the pieces. The puzzle is smooth and built to last.In terms of the puzzle:This is my first ever puzzle of this type, so I wanted to start strong with a difficult challenge. That's why I bought this puzzle, it is rated 6 of 6. I was able to take this puzzle apart and put it back together within 20 minutes. I'm a little disappointed because I was expecting it to take me an hour or more, but maybe my expectations were set too high. I wish I hadn't read the puzzle's theme before attempting to solve it, as the theme served as a one-word hint which made the puzzle a little easier. The theme is given on one of the paper inserts describing the puzzle that comes with the packaging.I found this puzzle on Puzzle Master and they give it a 9/10 difficulty rating, so if you are looking for the hardest Hanayama cast puzzle I suggest you try the hourglass puzzle. That one gets a 10/10 difficulty rating and is a common result I found when searching online for the most difficult Hanayama puzzle. I can't personally attest to its difficulty, however I liked this square puzzle enough that I've already purchased the hourglass puzzle. At around $10, this isn't a bad deal. You'll get at least 30 minutes of enjoyment and a cool puzzle to toy around with and show to friends. Overall, I'm satisfied with this puzzle though I do with it were more challenging.

Well Built!
I really like these puzzles and so do the kids I teach. I bought Square and Quartet and both are quite fun. Square was not challenging but it is really fun for the kids to figure out. Quartet was worth the buy. Taking it apart was much easier than reassembling but it was a good puzzle to think about. Both are built very well. They are heavy and seem to withstand use over time. All in all, I'm really happy with my purchase.

HanaPuzzle
I enjoy Hanayama puzzles. They are built well and sharp looking. This one is rated six, but I can only assign it a five on the difficulty scale. I took a star off because it’s a one trick pony. One move and it all falls apart. Too easy. As with almost all puzzles, the bigger challenge is getting them back together, and this one is no exception. It looks neat sitting on the desk and it’s fun to fiddle with, but a bit too easy. I dunno, maybe the trick is super difficult for most. The price is right. Get one and see what you think. It’s worth having in the collection. Note: the Infinty puzzle requires many moves and cannot be randomly opened. I like that.

Another great puzzle from Hanayama
Not for beginners but not hard to memorize once you find the solution. Great brain teaser for my office desk.

Well made
Very tricky to unassemble and reassemble but once you figure it out, don’t tell anyone. Over half of my family who tried it could not figure it out!

Ingenious works of art!
I've purchased 6 Hanayama puzzles [level 5 & 6] for friends/relatives as gifts. The puzzles are high quality metal and are extremely ingenious. I will purchase more puzzles, if they are level 5 or 6. Well worth the price! Hanayama, please make some more level 5 and 6 puzzles. They are "works of art."

Not a level 6, maybe a level 1 or 2 at best
It looks nice and it's very solid, the mechanism that keeps the puzzle together is pretty clever and it's worth having if you collect Hanayama puzzles. The downfall is that you can easily solve it accidentally, otherwise it's going to take you less than 5 minutes to figure out.
