I would not recommend this product to anyone as it is very fragile ...
I'm very unhappy with this rainsuit. I ride my bicycle to college every day, about 4 miles one way, and I've worn this 30$ rainsuit TWICE, and it already has a hole in the back of the pants and my ass gets SOAKED whenever I wear it. I would not recommend this product to anyone as it is very fragile and wears out extremely fast.the pictures were taken today, the third time I've worn this rainsuit. I never put it in the washing machine or dryer and I always dried it off and folded it up into the bag it came in, yet still it gets soaked through the hole.

Seam/material quality leaves a lot to be desired.
I bought these a couple months ago in preparation for police academy, since we would have a lot of mandatory outdoor drills rain or shine. I got lucky the first 7 weeks of academy and didn't need to get them out. Today was my first time wearing these, and the crotch seam tore out with about an 8" or 9" length rip. They performed well in the rain otherwise, but I'm really disappointed with the quality of the seams or material. These weren't put under any undue stress, and if anything were slightly too baggy on me at 5'10 and 155lbs.

There are garbage bags made of tougher stuff
There are garbage bags made of tougher stuff, both pieces ripped before being worn 3 times. You get what you pay for I guess, except for the fact that 20 bucks buys a lot more garbage bags.

Pretty Fragile
I only used this item one time and this is what happened: 1. I split the crouch 2. The zipper unravelled 3. The plastic like material started to separate from the backing. Overall the material fabric is not strong and the stitching is horribly done. The Idea is good and so is the price but the quality is very poor. I just used it around my yard gently while spraying weed killer and it still ripped even though it fits very roomy. I can't imagine anyone using this outfit for any higher movement activity like riding a bike. I have to throw it out. I wish the manufacturer would refund my money but since I used it I doubt it will happen. I would strongly advise spending a little more and getting a better quality item

I can recommend only for light and infrequent use
I bought this suit just in case I am outdoors to an event such as a concert and it rains so hopefully I don't have to use this suit very often. The material is very flimsy and does not seem like it is going to hold up well. I have not tested the waterproofing. Do not purchase if you plan to use them in a rugged outdoor adventure such as hiking or floating. I would expect tears in no time with any kind of activity. Fit will not be great if you have a somewhat irregular body size such as tall and thin. I bought a S/M and the jacket was roomy but the pants were not. The carry bag is very small and I could barely get the garments folded and back into the bag.

Even their official customer service can't get the description right. (pants are cinchable )
IF you treat it carefully, it'll last a few seasons. It's hands-down the optimization of price versus breathability and water proofness, but that's because its competitors of same price range and water proofness are just rubber suits with zero breathability -- this one is made of polypropylene plastic, albeit a membrane formulation that allows some vapor/gas transfer. If you have a friend who you want to take outdoors but they don't have rain gear, this suit is appropriate to purchase not only for them, but for yourself also, so your friend does not feel like a goofy baggy scare crow alone. Just bring repair tape especially if you're gonna bush wack. ---- the kicker is that on the Frogg Toggs website, this suit costs $45-50. which is too much for how easily a branch @ ankle-height will tear it up -- just be careful. The sizes run big, but that makes it warmer. Some ultralight backpacking enthusiasts swear by these! It probably isn't the best for biking, because you'll wear out the fabric on the ass-section.

Keeps you dry
The suit works great, keeps you dry and breathes well. However the fit is a little weird. I ordered the XL/XXL because when I tried on the M/L the sleeves were too short, so I assumed they would be longer, but they actually seem to be the same length. This is a perfect suit for quick protection. The zipper and snaps on the jacket are nice, however I would like for the bottom of the pants to have a snap or draw string to tighten them up, because they will get caught on your shoes and I am 6'2".

Very disappointing.
I ordered these because I expected the same quality as a similar set of Frogg Toggs ( same size) that I have enjoyed for many years. These pants ripped out at the crotch the very first time I wore them. I am returning this set and hope to find another suit by Frogg Toggs that will hold up like my last set. I have not given up on this brand, but there is something lacking in the quality of this particular set. The photo shows the old pair of pants on the left and the new pair on the right.

Poor Quality
I bought this product for spring fishing season. I wore this rain suit for the first time a couple weeks ago as we were crossing the lake in the rain. The suit seemed true to size. I’d ordered an XL so that I could easily slide it over a layer of clothing. It was very roomy. However, I only had this rain suit on for less than 10 minutes and as I sat down in the boat seat i heard a loud rip, and there was literally a 8 inch tear in the crotch seam where it was glued.20 minutes later I threw this rain suit in the garbage. Don’t waste your money on this rain suit. Spend a little more money in order to get better quality rainwear.

Good lightweight rainwear
Frog TogsI'm a cyclist, summer/winter, and I need all seasons outerwear. The only thing I've never had was good rainwear. I have one of those stiff yellow suits for construction work but it's too heavy and ugly. This one is lighter, more flexible and looks better. It's more of a charcoal black than a pitch black color which for me is nicer, bit of a rubbery type exteriorThe zipper is very smooth (something I was very disappointed with on a jacket I just paid $125 for).I would be careful opening the buttons, don't just tear open the jacket, it's not tough denim. All in all it's a good product for light usage. It's big enough to fit over regular shirt and pants, easy on/off. I got medium and I'm 5' 10" / 165lbs and its a perfect size. Inside is soft cotton type backing material and the seams are not stiched, but are specially press welded together, waterproofed. It's a good buy. For now it's in my Bug Out Bag

Tore from front to back 20 minutes after putting them on
Also bought the all purpose women’s rain suit for my wife . Didn’t know they were so much better or I would have purchased all 3 in this style for the little extra in price . Far more durable & comfortable ( breathable material ) .Frogg Toggs should honestly discontinue the light rain suit to save their reputation for the far superior all purpose rain gear . If your considering purchasing the lite gear save your money & just wear a garbage bag it’s the same comfort & lasts longer for way cheaper !
