Qube Cart XL -Gray

I finally had to replace my old one after 5 years of use (2-3 days every week). Note: It was still working fine, I dropped it on concrete and broke the handle. I am very happy to see my one issue with the design has been fixed. On the old one, the corner hinge pins would fall out. Not so on this model. I love also being able to use it as an extra seat when the occasion demands it. Based on all the people who have sat on the old one over the years, I am pretty comfortable saying the weight limit is above 300-325. If anything, this is more sturdy than the old one. To give you an idea of the size: mine holds - Hanging file folder carry box, large 3" binder, water bottle, clipboard, 2-3 expandable folders and a box of 25 "report covers". It's a tight fit, and you have to do it just right...but it all fits.

I purchased for the convenience of having a covered box on wheels that also worked as a cart.The Qube cart is an attractive neutral gray color. It was easy to put together and witharound 30 pounds of my art prints in it the Qube rolls well. The handle extends easily andseems sturdy enough. The little plastic stays that stiffen the folding sides pop off rathereasily, which would become a nuisance if you used the Qube Cart a lot.Unfortunately after several uses the container buckled. I had placed two boxes on top of the Qubewhen it was in my van. The Qube had its cover on top and was loaded with prints. It was the thirdtime I did this when the front side (away from the handle) warped and buckled. The boxes I hadplaced on top weigh about 50 lbs each. The Qube Cart XL is supposed to be able to support havingthings on top of it since the item description states "Doubles as a seat when lid is lockedsecurely on top." Most people sitting on it would weigh a lot more than 100 lbs!This cost 28.95 shipped and was a complete waste of money. I thought about contacting the sellerto see about getting the Qube repaired, but since it is plastic and the plastic will probablyfail again.Nice concept, but not sturdy enough.DO NOT BUY!

***UPDATE*** from 2 stars to 4I can't remember, but I guess I ended up getting a replacement. I purchased this May 2011 and I still own it, May 2017. The one I have now is not broken and works well. I still use it at times, but it folds up nicely and stores well until you need it again. It's made of good plastic, holds a good amount of weight and is sturdy. I do recommend this now.*Old review*When i pulled this out of the box i didn't understand how to put this item together. I could not find the screw to attached the hinges. Then i found out the whole thing was broken. The left side of the crate on the hinges was broken. I thought about duct tape and super glue...but that's a waste of my time. Also...the handle is stuck in the up position....it will not go down...the latch is stuck. I'm very upset with this purchase...I'm still trying to find their phone number to get a refund. DON'T BUY! It will come broken. I read the other reviews about the item being broken...but i thought it was just bad luck on their part....maybe this company doesn't look at the items when they ship it out...because they come broken!!!This looks like it could be a great item...if it was not broken....i will be buying another one from another company once i figure out how to contact this company to get a refund*I hope my review was helpful for you!.

the crate is ok. I like the color but think the crate is a little wobbly and don't like to manually place the top bars on the sides to keep it stable - I'm sure they'll eventually be lost or fall off. Also, when the top is not in use, it doesn't really attach well to the front - it falls off.would not recommend to a friend.

OK...OK....I read previous reviews and figured I could risk it...but this cart needs to be made of more durable plastic and perhaps reinforced with rubber edging or something. I've only used it 3 times...and I knew during the first use, that it wasn't going to last long. The handle, although not broken, feels flimsy, and when cart is loaded, makes it difficult to steer. And while it is very easily put together, it just as easily seems to break apart. Several little bits of plastic have snapped off from, what I consider to be 'light use', as I'm not even certain how, when or why the broke off! The idea of this cart is great, and it holds quite a bit of gear, and being able to use it as a seat is very practical for what I use it for...photography gear, but it just needs to sturdiness tweaked a bit. Disappointed.

I work in a hospital and have a long walk from my parking to my office. I carry a lot of papers and folders home and back to work. This cart is a back saver for me. It fits nicely on the back seat of my car and it easily holds a couple of my carry bags and my lunch. The top is a plus feature over other alternatives on Amazon.com. The overall look is quite business-like with the grey color. Someone stopped me the other day and asked if I was the medical examiner. NOT ME. Must have been the very official looking cart. The rubber wheels roll smoothly. Handle easily extends and retracts. Well worth the money. I just leave it set up but it's nice to know I can fold it up if I want to.

I have found so many uses for this carrier. I keep it folded in my car and it is always ready to go. It unfolds quickly and is very sturdy. I have really loaded it to capacity and it performs flawlessly. I have brought supplies into the office and the Qube folds quickly to store under the desk, taking little space. This was a very good purchase and I am very pleased with it.
