Would a torqeedo 1103 electric 24" shaft modor work with the paddleski 437?

Thank you for your interest in Sea Eagle boats. Normally, the electric motor that goes with the 437ps should have a 15" short shaft. However, the Torqeedo is different in that it has a larger propeller and it sits differently on the transom. As such, it needs a longer shaft to go below the water so it does not cavitate. Therefore, the Torqeedo that should be used with a 437ps is the 1103CL Long Shaft motor, which is the exception to the 437ps short shaft motor rule.
