Very nice product, cooking experience was good

I got it for my mother and we love it. It's a big enough size to make variety of dishes.How we handle:1) Use this gently, cook on low-medium flame for best use.2) Use the 2 wooden spatulas they give only.3) Try to keep the hot pan on top of a wooden coaster. Steel is cold and it may crack the same.For seasoning the product:1) We used rice flour to soak this in a bucket full of water for 16 hours, undisturbed.2) Drained the rice water and wiped the product with napkin,3) Used the rice water again from first step with some potato peels and brought it to boil.4) Drained, let it cool then after drying used coconut oil to coat the product fully. Done! 👍For washing:1) Lemon, baking soda and salt.2) Do not use any hard scrubs. Scrub gently.This is THE BEST for Pulao, Tahri & Dum Biryani! And the taste.. OMG. Perfect size for 4-5 people. Go for it blindly.

The product is exactly what I was looking for ecofriendly, handmade, without any chemicals, unglazed as well as authentic Kerela style cooking claypot.Very thoughtful to have provided complimentary wooden spatulas & base ring.If you will follow the instructions on the phamplet that comes along with the claypot, you will not face any issues using it.Thanks for such an amazing claypot.

This pot is used in my everyday cooking and has proved very useful. It came with seasoning instructions. There was no need to do starch based seasoning as cornstarch seasoning was already done. I have prepared dal, non veg and various type of vegetables in which have come out well.
