I was a bit surprised at how much I liked this dress. It’s very flattering. The material isn’t really the best, but for $20 and polyester it obviously wasn’t going to be high quality, but I have to say, it’s truly is pretty. Def a good purchase.

This dress is fantastic for curves. So flattering. Also good for those of us with short torsos. The fabric is rich and has lovely movement. I’m a D and I find that it covered modestly. The belt could benefit from some structure, but not that big of a deal. I might open it up and put some webbing or fusing in it. The saddest thing is that my bracelet broke and caught and pulled threads from the dress, so just be careful not to catch it on anything.

I even read ALL the reviews and was hoping this would not happen "to me" but it did. Although, this dress if flattering as far as the shape, the front slit is just enough but know that it opens quite a lot depending on how you sit, the front part does cover any "pooch" you might have. MY MAIN issue with this dress is the top part. The breast part, the one-off shoulder was very saggy, like there was too much material around that area. Then on the other side that had the thick strap, it did not line up with my shoulder so I had to adjust it to line up but it did not stay! It looked HORRIBLE in that area and although I am not a small girl in that region, not entirely busty either, overall, even if I had the breasts to fill it out, I still don't believe it would have looked good because of the saggy material that was presented in that area! And YES you will need to pin the belt, like other reviews have stated as it will turn on you....getting fabric tape will help too if you don't want to pin it! IF YOU get a good dress that does not have the issues that I described above, then this dress is a WINNER. I was completely bummed that it did not work out for me because it is very elegant, sexy, the satin in nice and would have worked out for the wedding I was set to attend. As a result, I have to send the dress back but what also annoys me in this is it's an inconvenience; the dress needs to go through UPS instead (no office is close to me) rather than my usual Kohl's return store (much closer to me).

This is my experience with this dress: First, it is a beautiful color! The concept was good, the assembly was not! I'm 5' 3", 149lbs. I work out and have an athletic, older persons build. I ordered a M, it fit weird. The top right side was tight across my breast area, BTW I'm a A+ cup (the + is for effort in amost being a B cup! Lol). The shoulder strap was also snug enough that I knew after awhile it was going to start to irritate my skin. The left side was loose and had a big pouf of material just above the waist line, which looked weird. You could tuck it under the belt, but realistically we all know it's not going to stay there for long. I ordered another medium and large to see if they fit any better. (I forgot to take pictures of those 2, sorry!) The 2nd medium was slightly less thight in the areas I had mentioned and the pouf was still there, just not as big. The large looked the best as far as giving that pleated look the model in the picture had. It fit better in the strap area and across my right breast. Unfortunately, the left side under my arm area was so loose it ballooned out on the side of the dress. The waist was a little big. The material just above the side waist area was also pulled and sewn in 2 different directions, which caused it not to lay smooth in an area that was supposed to be. This one also had that big odd pouf just above the waist. Two more things to note. This dress is thin with no liner, but I don't think it is see thru, at least not the dark blue. It does produce static and attracts lint. In the summer it would be fine, but its Nov. in the midwest and it's becoming dry. Just trying it on, it was attracting things. I had to lint roll it as I folded it up to return.
