NEFFMen's Daily Beanie, Warm, Slouchy, Soft Headwear

I love it

I got mine in the color "Fog" which is light grey. Color was accurate to the picture, always nice. The stitching is straight and there are no awkward lumps around the seams. 0The hat is lightweight, and mine doesn't pill at all. I'm bald on the crown and keep my hair shaved very short, and I am pleased with how gentle this is against my scalp. This is a comfortable hat that doesn't cause me any irritation or grief, including on a snowboarding trip where I kept it on for about 6 hours straight.The reason I'm taking a star is because the fabric is not dense at all, and the ribbing stretches very easily. While that is great for comfort, it means that wind cuts through this too easily. That is why I call this a modest hat; if you are going skiing, or are in some other very cold (under 20F) or windy conditions then I think you should consider a more robust hat. I wear size 7.5 flat-lid hats and this beanie fits me quite well. I would wear this beanie between 0 deg F and 50 deg F. Anything higher would be too hot to wear this.Pros:- Cheap: Compared to other brands you will find at the mall, this beanie is relatively cheaper.- Durable: This beanie has lasted me 1 tough winter season in DC when we got 24 inches of snow and a couple of chilly winter days.- Warmth: Despite its thinness and lightweight, this beanie keeps my head warm relatively warm and snug.Cons:- I wish I bought more colors and styles from Neff. I would like to try more of their styles and colors.

Update:So i decided to exchange the "fog" one for a charcoal one. I must say it's like night and day. The quality feels superior and even the fit feels better. This charcoal one i have now is awesome. Changed my 1 star rating to 5 stars. Be wary of the fog one though.-----------------For the last 4 years Ive had 2 neff beanies that have been absolutely awesome. Since they were getting a litle old i decided to buy a new one. Big mistake. This beanie is of horrible quality. I already have a hole after only one day of use and in other areas the yarn curls up. I am soooooo disappointed with this beanie. Id rather keep using my old ones.

Amazon sent the wrong color. It clashes with my wardrobe, but its cold. I'm just passive aggressive enough to yell into the void. So yeah. Soft comfortable hat. Wrong color.
