When the arm is full extended and it's not counter-balanced, the stand will fall over. The arm does not pivot at the point where it attaches to the pole. That's one of the points where I did want it to pivot so I could push the laptop out of the way when sitting on the couch. I ended up breaking one of the pressure arms which secures the laptop to the "table." I was able to replace the arm and table with another purchase. That one had a different mount that I was able to put on the pole. Now the arm pivots on the pole as I wanted. It's counter balanced by having the legs under the couch. It works great that way... just have to buy more parts to make it work right. :P

The stand needs a wider base because it tends to tip easily, this would be much better if the extension arms came straight out instead of the angle that it does and if the arms were at least a foot longer, other wise a good stand.

Likes to tip over until you over-tighten a few screws to limit rotation at the top. What I expected for the price.

This is not at all stable and it keeps falling over regardless of how I position it. Don't use for any electronics. It fell over and destroyed my laptop screen, repairs for which were very expensive.

Mouse pad is too high and uncomfortable to use. Should be adjustable. Would also like adjustable rotating laptop base as well

Would be better if it could rotate, but overall it is pretty useful. I don't use the mouse pad.
