Review: I purchased this to study for my CAPA exam in Nov 2018. Unfortunately, the book does not differentiate between CAPA and cpan questions. The book really helps you focus in on main topics for the exam. Honestly, the questions were harder in book than on the actual exam. The rationales were awesome. If I needed further explanation I used my drains book. I passed my CAPA examine in one try. I recommend buying the CAPA questions on the aspan website. The layout of the practice exams mirrored the exam. I also recommend buying the pearls? Exam questions for $10 in your phones App Store (just search CAPA/cpan). There’s over 500 questions. The Aspan app also has 50 questions to purchase for $10. Good luck fellow nurses!

As others have stated, there are grammatical some errors. However, this is still a great study tool when preparing for the CPAN or CAPA certification. Nice study guide for cpan

I have used this to study for the CAPA exam. It has good question and multiple choice answer study format with rationales in the back. However I wished the book was split into 2 different sections, one for CPAN questions and one for CAPA questions. I am taking the CAPA exam and feel that I am studing some material that may not be related to the CAPA but rather the CPAN exam.

I used this book to study for the CAPA test. I have experience in the PACU which why I feel prepared to take the CAPA. The questions and rationales are the most beneficial part of this book. I did get a textbook for the things I did not understand, but I spent the most time in this book. I highly recommend this book!
