My favorite at this price point
I'm a big fan of the 1More Triple, having bought both the regular and Lightning cable version for my son and wife, respectively. To give you a perspective on my point of view, I'm currently rocking the Shure SE-840, having moved on from the Shure SE-535 and Audiofly AF180 IEMs. I also spent a month or so with the Audeze LCD-i3's before moving on to the Shure SE-840's. So, some pretty fine kit, and I guess the point is that although I'd never expect a $100 or so set to equal the pricier stuff, I'm picky about the sound.I got my first set of 1More Triples to replace some Hifiman RE400's that sounded pretty good for a $50 set, but tended to only last about a year before going bad. I tried them out on the morning walk, and I was really surprised out how good they sounded. Clear, well balanced, and fun! I got a phone all on that first walk, and the caller's voice sounded really natural. The other really nice surprise is that this IEM comes with a high quality microphone, so the person on the other end got a nice benefit as well.1More includes 5 sets of silicone tips ranging from 14.5mm down to 10mm, and foam tips in 11mm, 13mm, and 14.5 mm. There is also a small leather carry case. I'm a fan of foam tips and 1More's are okay, but we use the Comply 600 Isolation tips. The 1More foam tips are rather shallow, maybe extending half as far into the ear as the Comply tips, so we get a little better fit and isolation with the Complys.Anyway this set is highly recommended; at its price, the 1More Triple punches well above its weight.

Inconsistent controls.
First review:Sound and fit are great. However, volume control is horrible. Sometimes the lowest setting is almost too loud. Do not try to adjust using slide on iPhone music player as you slide to lower the volume, it will blast you out. Contact 1 More and they said to update earbuds using their app, which did not work. Have another week and if this continues, I will return.Update after contacting 1More support:1More support suggested some possible fixes, which did help me connect better and could set the volume with minimum control, but still not as good volume controls and range as you get with stock Apple earbuds. After contacting support again I found out that purchasing through Amazon third party vendor, Zouk, resulted in me not qualifying for any support nor warranty.I looked into how to avoid this issue in the future, and found an article talking about this problem with purchasing through Amazon. The article suggested that you visit the website of the manufacturer and see whether they list authorized vendors. I did that this morning, and on the "usa.1more.com" site, I could not find any such listing, but when I clicked on a review listing for that site for the product, there was a purchase button that directing you to purchase the earbuds on Amazon, through Zouk. Thus, more information up front would have been helpful.I think I did figure out a workaround the volume issue, so I will keep the earbuds. I may purchase an authorized set from Amazon to see if in fact the first set is defective, or just poor firmware.

Terrible for phone calls, great for music.
I have the one-more 3.5mm version of these and I use them every day for music and for 3hrs of business calls. I also have a $25 set from Symphonic that work fantastically. Also, I have the iPhone 6s and was thinking about getting the iPhone X soon so I was looking for a good LIGHTNING version.I purchased these 1more LIGHTNING headphones with the built in DAC in hopes of even better music quality when listening to high def audio. The music is very clear, well balanced, and sounds great. If you only listen to music, these work great, and sound great. The problem is that the phone call experience is terrible.--When I originally received the headphones in October, the phone call audio was incredibly low...so low that I could barely hear the other person even with the volume all the way up.--I opened a ticket on the 1more website for help. I DID receive a response that 1More is working on the problem.--using the 1more iPhone app, I was able to update the firmware in the headphones. I did not find any change at all.--this week, i checked the 1more app again, and there was another firmware update. THIS time the call volume is fixed! Thank you 1more! The problem is now the microphone has SO much gain, the people on the other end hear a distorted, over-modulated version of me. It is truly unbearable. The background noise is perfectly clear, my voice sounds like the singer in a metal band! Waaaay too loud, too much distortion, and there is no way to adjust the mic volume.I use earbuds 70% of the time for phone calls, 30% for music. I'm hoping I can return these, but I'm guessing it is too late, so I will go back to my $25 pair that work perfectly and put the 1more back in the junk drawer in hopes that they come out with a fix :(

And it's just a terrible looking app if it did work
THE 1MOREASSISTANT APP ON iOS is pretty terrible. It doesn't work, not the equalizer, not anything in the pictures. And it's just a terrible looking app if it did work. And I should have heeded the one review it has, DO NOT INSTALL THE FIRMWARE UPDATE. It will cause volume issues. At low volume you will not hear anything, once it hits about 30-40% it will blast nearly full volum, then the next notch will go back to a normal volume and slowly ramp back up from there. UPDATE: Restarting the phone puts things back to normal. It sounds pretty good, and the packaging is beautiful. There is barely any separation or soundstage but this is somewhat expected with an iem, and I think the highs suffer a little, but otherwise really good sound. Especially at this pricepoint they rival headphones at least 50% more expensive. I like them. Quality bass, though some may want more quantity, and vocals sound really great.
