Made removing stuck axles possible!
Can’t say enough great things about this simple tool. Had two stuck axles that I had to remove and after an hour trying everything I could to get them out, I decided to order this tool, praying that it would be the answer. Once it arrived, I tried tightening it with my long 1/2in ratchet and then hitting it with a hammer on top of the screw, but it still wouldn’t budge. Frustrated, I took my Milwaukee 1/2in impact and beat the thing into submission and to my surprise, it came right out! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Seller is very good to work with
Puller arrived missing some required hardware. OMT immediately made it right and sent a replacement.

NOT 5/8"-18
Thread Pitch is Metric 1.25 not 18. Worst of all the center hole is offset if it was being used for its intended purpose it would be worthless. It does adapt to my slide hammer set, so I will be returning it.

Works for removing drum/hub assemblies
I used this puller to remove one of my car's rear drum/hub assemblies, which was being held in place by the inner bearing. A "tight" bearing-to-spindle fit, which apparently causes the bearing to stretch a few thousandths of an inch, is preferable, according to the relevant national/international standards, but a "loose" fit (i.e. not tight but with no discernible play) is acceptable.Although the puller's fit left something to be desired, it made it easy to remove the drum/hub assembly by pulling it straight off, thus preventing the bearing from binding further on the spindle.

Saved the Day
Worked perfect. It’s a lot better than beating on the axel with a hammer. This tool is worth way more than the $18 I paid for it.

Buy it before you need it
Pulling hubs is a beast. This tool helps but be prepared for a difficult job. This tool worked so well that it pulled half the hub apart and left the outer ring attached to the brake shield, which I needed to remove & hammer out. That said, it's durable, the threads held up fine, and I even whacked on it a few times during the job with no problems. If you're a DIY-er doing this job, this tool will be just fine for you needs.
