Installs easily on the ring of TG-5. Most of the material feels decent, but the lens cover itself is easily shifts open if you put gentle pressure on it. It will provide basic protection from fingerprints (which is the main reason I got it for) but won't offer much resistance to a blunt object. As long as you have the right expectation, I think this cover works just fine.

I'm surprised that a camera costing close to $500 did not come with a lens cover and although I have been very careful with the camera I am much happier protecting the most important component of the camera - the lens. You have to remove the ring around the lens just as you do when using the macro lens. It goes on snugly, looks great, and works perfectly with no shading or other optical problems. Well worth the price.

価格がリーズナブルなアクセサリーを捜していました。 純正のレンズキャップではありませんが、機能としては全く問題はないと思います。 私だけかもしれませんが、キャップアダプターを装着したカメラをケースへの出し入れ時にキャップに開いてしまう事があります。（毎回ではありませんが）キャップを開閉するリングが閉じた時にカチと止める機能があると改善するように思われます。
