I purchased this set of knives specifically because it had a block to hold all five knives. Unfortunately there was only one large slot, but two large knives. So, while there are five slots in the block, you can only put four knives in the block. Additionally, the block is pourly designed and the paint peels off immediately.I am very disappointed with this purchase, which is unfortunate because it looked like a good set of knives.

The set is very nice and the knives are very sharp. I received two chef knives, instead of one chef and a carving knife. The block is not designed to hold to chef knives.

This knife set looks great on my counter top . Just beware these knives are sharp! Really are restaurant / chef quality so always be extra careful with these .

I like the product and the slimline look of the holder, however the knife set came with 2 of the 8” chef knives instead of 1- 8” chef knife and 1-8” carving knife. I’m not able to keep both knives in the holder since the slot is made for the carving knife and the second chefs knife doesn’t fit in it.
