Bird Scare Reflective Holographic Ribbon, 350 Feet by 2 Inches

This year, I picked over 4 lb Cherries from my one Cherry tree. This streamer really helped. I placed this all around my one Cherry tree and no birds came near it. In the last few years I barely harvested more than one lb and most of those I harvested were partly eaten, so wasted. This was worth the money.

It keeps the crows and starlings away that will eat every straw berry and corn sprout. I don't know how long this will last, very very thin. It constantly sets off my neighbors motion detector camera that is pointed at my backyard garden. :) All day long. :) Constantly :)For the Berries and corn I also use netting, I love the birds just would like some food out of the garden for the humans. Yes my yard does look like I'm getting ready to sell used cars and yes I did use way more than I need to keep birds away. But I'm having so much fun after a few years of torture from the neighbors.This was the last thing on my bucket list which consisted of a tall privacy fence, a dog barking deterrent that works on a constant barking dog, a garden apron that covers my behind while gardening so my behind isn't constantly being video taped by same neighbors, A camera pointed at my mail box (only at mailbox) to report same neighbors when they get in my mailbox, and now something to set off motion detector camera pointed into my private backyard space. It took a couple of years but I'm now finally enjoying my property.

Effective for deterring birds from destroying my fruits.

We are in a marina in Florida where the birds find every "tall" place to stop and call out to each other. I put this ribbon in LONG strips. It worked like a charm. They do not like our boat. The longer strips allow the ribbon to flap in the breeze making a delightful sound but scaring them away. Short pieces are not as effective in my opinion.It ties in a knot easily so it is easy to use. Love it.

The tape works well to keep Hawks away however with all the wind we've had here in TN it keeps breaking. We fixed it 4 times already. Looking into a stronger reflective tape now.

I purchased this and 3 plastic owls to keep my chickens from hawk attacks. I've lost 3 hens to hawks since November. One actually flew into the protected run covered with bird netting, but my crazy chickens had torn a huge hole in the netting and the brave hawk got in, killed a hen, and flew out. So far, with this reflective ribbon tied all around, and 3 owls mounted high, no hawks have tried to secure a free meal.

Initially this tape worked and the flock of pidgeons that adopted my backyard left. But after a day they returned as did the crows and bluejays. They happily walk through, around and under the tape as it billows in the breeze. The only birds the tape kept away are the little finches.Well, at lesst it looks pretty sparkling in the sun. Sigh.

This product worked well but is thinner and ripped when stapled to sticks in the ground. We ended up stringing twine on the sticks and cutting pieces of the reflective tape tied on to the twine. It has kept all the geese off the yard This was used on backyard land by the water with lots of wind. It did the job we needed.
