Hobby Twin RC Car Motor Cooling Fans - Metal Cover Heatsink Fit for 1/8 1/7 RC Car 40mm 42mm Brushless Motors

I haven't tested performance yet but installation was easy. I even went above and beyond and put some CPU thermal paste (Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut) on the bottom of the heatsink before installation. After that, it snapped on to the Spektrum Firma 4074 in my Arrma Kraton 6S v5. The fans are louder than the fan on my ESC, but let's be real. The Arrma Kraton 6s is not a quiet car to begin with lol. If I'm just cruising, I'll probably leave the fans unplugged but if I'm bashing or running the speed pinion, they'll definitely be plugged in. I just couldn't justify spending $15 on the Arrma heatsink and then another $15-20 for a fan when this one was around $20 total. =

Fit my rival MT8 an Kagama 6s perfectly. Just push them on.

This will not vote straight up to the fans on an arrma fireteam, and the fans are a lot louder than the factory one but seem to be more efficient as far as cooling the motor hence that's the reason for the four stars the reason it did not get five is because you cannot remove the motors and replace it with the fan motors on the fireteam but as you can see in my pictures it can be modified to work what I done is had to cut the housing that goes around the motor and drill holes to line up with the ones removed for the factory fan and after doing so and doing a little extra grinding if it's fine, and like I said before the fan seem to be doing a good job at keeping the motor cool but if you're just looking for something to replace a broken fan and this might not be the product for you, if I didn't need it I probably would have returned it and ordered a different fan, but I didn't have a couple extra days and needed something ASAP, I made it work, all in all seems like it would be a great product if you needed the Shroud and the fans for a motor.

After 6 runs in total, it doesn’t works , I’m very disappointed in the product… it worked for few months and stop working

This setup works very well on my Arrma Kraton 6s. Keeps the motor temps down. A lot of people say the fans are loud, but I like the way they sound. One of the wires on my fan broke off well over a month after I bought it. I contacted the seller and seller responded immediately. Seller was very friendly and shipped me out new fans which I received in a couple days. I only asked for one fan and received a new pair of fans with new hardware and carbon fiber covers. With this type of customer service you can’t go wrong. Super happy with them.

The heatsink fit well and keeps my motor cool. The fans are extremely loud and one of them died quickly after purchasing ☹️
