One of the most didactic and complete of its kind
As the preface warn us, this is for the fan, not for the scientist. So, if you want to know the meaning of all hand positions or more specific aspects of Buddhism, this is not for you. But if you love the mythology, this is one of the most didactic books I ever read about it. It divides the Buddhism by regions, explaining how art and the more general aspects of the religion established in that place. Amazing photographies and handful explanations. Fantastic!

This is a great book it gives a very good overview of the subject, its really well illustrated, text probably between coffee table and academic in style, I really like it, its extremely good value and I highly recommend it.
