The range of gold in this metallic watercolor paint set is phenomenal! They go on smoothly and dry evenly, maintain their color and shine and with layered applications, build to a bold accent on variety of papers and paints. They stay shiny when dry but still maintain some depth, other paints tend to look too flat/matte. I’m very pleased with these paints, I would buy them again.

This is a teeny tiny tin with extremely small pots of metallic gold paints. The watercolors are absolutely wonderful and are well worth the money spent. These are quality pigments with a variety of shades of gold. They can be very transparent or layered for a more opaque consistency. I love them and will purchase an extra set to have on hand. Beautiful paint set!

This is a rather nice set of gold paints. They are all different and work well for my projects. The packaging is very nice and the product more than fills the half sized pots. Really nice product. I would buy again.

Great price, nice packaging and pretty colors. Now, I write the following notes not as criticism, but as observations for anyone else this may matter to.... All six will need a fixative spray once dry. The photo shows how one swipe of my finger will smudge the pigments. Some are better than others with this issue (top three). I found the paint (in the pans) soaked up the water I'd put on top to loosen for use, and I'd get one brush full to paint with and by the time I returned to the pan, the water was gone. Kind of cool in a mysterious way, lol, but also makes water control difficult. The most in your face gold is 24k Merck Gold and is my favorite.

Arrived earlier than expected- impressive. I am SO IN LOVE with these mini tin paint sets. The colours are absolutely beautiful, and so lovely and creamy to use. As with all w/c paints you must activate with water before use, and dont close the tin while wet, allow them to fully dry first. I am collecting them all, they are so adorable. I'm addicted! Never had a problem with any of them. They arrive promptly, are well packaged, immaculately and individually wrapped, and the colours are out of this world. Buy some! You wont be disappointed!
