Why did you pick this product vs others?:A rather later review, but I have been using this regularly since 2022 and never once ran into any issues ! PLEASE BLINDLY TRUST THIS! Resolution:Great resolution and setting help to keep and maintain brightness throughout the day. No complains at all. there is no distortion of image.

I use these as satellite monitors for my gaming setup. For me, I just needed an affordable monitor, and these work great. I’ll admit that the quality isn’t “top shelf,” but the quality you get for the cost is there. The colors look good and sharp, and the 60Hz refresh is fine when you’re not actively gaming on it. If you need a simple 1080p monitor for a good price, this is a great option.

If you have a need for an all-in-one display that combines a display, webcam, microphone, speakers, and USB-C connector, this is a solid option for you.For an integrated display such as the LG 24MP750C-B, it is priced in the higher end of the middle of the pack.It is an IPS (in plane switching) display vs. a VA (vertical alignment) display, and IPS is generally a better quality display technology. IPS displays have better color and viewing angle than VA displays, while VA displays tend to have narrower viewing angles and better black levels than IPS displays.LG typically makes solid computer displays, and this one is no different. I hate when I can't adjust the height, tilt, or orientation of a display (as the alternative for adjusting height is stacking bundles of printer paper under the display stand, which is far less elegant), and this model has all of those adjustments which I really like.The USB-C connector is also convenient as with that single cable, I can power my laptop (which gets rid of the PC power brick...win!) and use it to output video from my laptop to the display. Fewer cables = better.Insofar as display quality is concerned, this LG IPS display is bright, has great color and contrast, and really good black levels. And of course, it has the wider viewing angle typical of IPS displays so the viewing "sweet spot" is generous.One thing of note...it is a 27" widescreen monitor with HD resolution (1920 x 1080). That is totally fine and is great for work and viewing HD movies, however if you don't need the niceties of a built-in webcam and mic, for slightly less money you can get a 32" widescreen 4K (3820 x 2160) HDR10 LG display (LG 32UN500-W). That model does use a VA panel vs. IPS panel, so that is something to keep in mind. Just a thought.

Before I bought this monitor, I read the reviews on here and on other websites. Then I went to the LG website listed under Product Description on this page and downloaded the Monitor Driver and the On Screen Control Support software (for Windows and Mac) which lets you choose Screen Split (to arrange multiple windows), Monitor Settings, My Application Presets and Game Mode Settings before I bought the monitor.I am not a gamer so I don't have any high quality games to try.I also downloaded the User Manual in PDF format, the link to download the User Manual is under Product Guides and Documents on this page. There is a lot of useful information in this manual.I turned on my computer after connecting this monitor then installed the Monitor Driver through Device Manager in Windows 11. This driver gives Windows 11 full functionality of the monitor.This monitor replaces my old 9 year old Acer. The picture & graphics on this LG FHD 27-Inch 27MP450-B is fantastic! I am very pleased with this monitor and I highly recommend it.The joystick control on the power button is very easy to use and is easy to get to all the settings just by moving the button forward, backwards, left or right. Just push the button in once and the settings menu will be shown in the On Screen Display. This is much easier than all the separate buttons on my old monitor to adjust the settings.I'm glad I got the 27MP450-B with the tilt & height adjustment stand. The height adjustment lets the monitor glide slowly & smoothly up or down and it stays right where you raise or lower it to. There is no lock or adjustment to be made on the stand to raise or lower the monitor, just slowly move it up or down, it doesn't take much pressure to move it.
